Are you the kind of person who can read a brand brief and immediately hear the story underneath it? Do you get genuinely excited about finding the exact words that make a brand feel unmistakably like itself, not generic or templated and certainly not AI? And do you think beyond the document... about whether the client can actually use what you've created once you're done Then keep reading... About I for Design Studio: We're a boutique brand and web design studio based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD Australia, led by Indiah (Creative Director). We work with premium service-based businesses. Think interior designers, lawyers, allied health professionals, and creative studios who care deeply about how their brand shows up in the world. The design work is refined, intentional, and personality-led. The brand strategy and copy behind it needs to match that standard exactly. The opportunity: This is a gig-based EOI, not an ongoing role *yet*. We're looking to build a relationship with a brand strategist and copywriter (if such a unicorn exists) who we can bring in on a per-project basis as the workload requires. If the fit is right, there's real potential for this to grow into something more regular over time. What you'll work on: 1. Brand strategy documents: positioning, audience research, competitor analysis, brand personality and messaging frameworks 2. Tone of voice development: defining how a brand sounds and giving it a voice that actually feels human 3. Website copy: homepage through to internal pages, written to convert without sounding like everyone else 4. Brand messaging: taglines, brand story, key messages, value propositions 5. Brand guidelines that are genuinely usable: written in plain language so clients can maintain their own voice confidently after handover 6. Supporting with EDM copy, social captions, or other brand-adjacent writing when needed What's in it for you: A creative director who has strong aesthetic and strategic instincts, meaning you won't be briefed vaguely and left to guess A creative director who genuinely wants your strategic input. Yes, your ideas and instincts are welcome and encouraged here, not just your execution Inspiring, well-positioned clients across premium service industries Flexible, project-based work that fits around your other commitments A studio that values craft, honesty, and doing things properly You're a fit if you: Have at least 3 years experience in brand strategy, copywriting, or both, ideally in a creative service or agency environment Understand the difference between a brand voice and a writing style, and know how to build both from scratch Write in clear, confident, human English that doesn't sound like it came from a template (or worse, AI) Can translate research, strategy, and client conversations into copy that actually moves people Understand that strategy and copy only work if the client can actually USE them. You write guidelines that are clear, practical, and easy to implement, not just impressive documents that sit in a folder and never get opened again Don't just complete the brief, you improve it. You bring ideas, spot gaps, and flag opportunities we haven't thought of yet. If you can see a better way to position a client or a piece of copy that would land harder, you say so Are comfortable working autonomously from a brief and delivering polished work without hand-holding Communicate proactively, ask smart questions upfront, and flag anything unclear before it becomes a problem Are available for calls and feedback during AEST business hours when needed Bonus points for: Experience working with premium service-based businesses like lawyers, health professionals, interior designers, creative studios Understanding of brand identity and how copy and visual design work together Ability to do both strategy AND copy (potentially rare, but very welcome) How to apply: Email ---------- with the subject line: "I'm your next brand strategist and copywriter" Please include: A short note about who you are and why this work appeals to you One or two examples of brand strategy or copy you've created that you're genuinely proud of and a sentence on why Your CV or portfolio link Your availability and preferred rate per project or per hour in USD **Important note: please write your application in your own words. We use AI tools in our everyday processes and we're not against them, but if your application reads like it was written entirely by AI, it won't be considered. This role is about human thinking, human voice, and human creativity. We'd love for you to show us yours! Due to the volume of applications, we're only able to respond to candidates we'd like to take further. If you don't hear from us, please know we appreciate you taking the time to apply.

About Us We are a full-service e-commerce creative agency working with brands across North America, Europe, and beyond. We produce branding, packaging, web design, and high-end product visuals for DTC brands in wellness, fragrance, skincare, and food. Our visual bar is very high — our clients expect renders that look like premium product photography. The Role We're looking for a talented 3D Designer who can handle multiple projects per month and deliver consistent, high-quality work across: 3D Modeling — accurate product modeling from photos, dielines, or sketches (bottles, jars, pouches, boxes, supplements, cosmetics, etc.) Texturing & Shading — realistic materials: glass, plastic, metal, matte/gloss labels, liquids, powders Photorealistic Renders — hero shots, packshots, lifestyle compositions with studio-quality lighting Environments & Scenes — building full 3D environments and product staging (podiums, nature scenes, kitchens, bathrooms, abstract sets) 3D Animation / Video — product turntables, camera fly-throughs, liquid/particle simulations, short ad-ready product videos AI-Assisted Workflows — we fully embrace AI (image generation, upscaling, background creation, video tools). You can mix 3D and AI freely — as long as the final result is clean, consistent, and high quality Important: Attention to Detail We know the difference between a real 3D render and a lazy AI output. We can spot warped text, melted logos, inconsistent reflections, and fake-looking labels instantly. If you use AI, it must be integrated professionally — correct branding, correct proportions, sharp typography, believable lighting. Quality is non-negotiable. Requirements Strong portfolio showing product renders, environments, AND at least one 3D animation/video Proficiency in at least one main 3D software: Blender, Cinema 4D, or 3ds Max Render engine experience: Cycles, Octane, Redshift, Corona, or similar Bonus: experience with AI tools (Midjourney, Higgsfield, Runway, Kling, Flux, etc.) Bonus: compositing/post skills (Photoshop, After Effects) Able to handle several projects per month with reliable turnaround times Good communication in English, responsive on Slack/WhatsApp Able to take feedback and do revisions without ego What We Offer Steady flow of projects every month (long-term collaboration, not one-off gigs) Work with real international brands — portfolio-worthy projects Creative freedom on execution as long as quality is there Flexible hours — we care about output, not time tracking Growth: our best designers become our go-to leads How to Apply Start your application with the word "RENDER" so we know you read this post Send your portfolio link (Behance, ArtStation, Google Drive, or website) — applications without a portfolio will be ignored Tell us: which 3D software + render engine you use, and which AI tools (if any) you work with Include 1–2 examples of your best product render and your best 3D video/animation Your expected monthly salary We review every application with a portfolio. Talented artists will hear back within a few days.
