Terms of Service
Last updated: June 30, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Vertuelo, including our websites, accounts, public profiles, ProPages, resumes, portfolios, job listings, employer tools, community forums, AI tools, files, and related services. By creating an account, browsing, posting, applying, hiring, uploading files, or otherwise using Vertuelo, you agree to these terms.
2. Who May Use Vertuelo
You must be able to form a binding agreement and must provide accurate account information. If you create an employer or company account, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that business. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
3. Platform Purpose
Vertuelo helps Filipino VAs and freelancers prepare for remote work, present their skills, learn, join community discussions, discover opportunities, and connect with employers. We provide tools and information, but we do not guarantee job offers, client results, income, interview outcomes, candidate quality, hiring decisions, or business performance.
4. User Content and Public Visibility
You remain responsible for content you submit, including profiles, resumes, portfolios, ProPages, posts, comments, polls, attachments, applications, job listings, company profiles, messages, reviews, and uploaded files. Some content may be public or visible to other users, employers, applicants, or visitors depending on your settings and the feature used. You grant Vertuelo a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, display, reproduce, and distribute your content as needed to operate and improve the service.
5. Content Standards
Do not post content that is unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, hateful, violent, malware-laden, spammy, or infringing. Do not impersonate another person or business, scrape the service without permission, misrepresent employment terms, collect sensitive information from users without a lawful basis, or attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, or security systems.
6. Community Forums, Polls, and Attachments
Forum posts, comments, polls, and attachments are for professional discussion and peer support. Polls should be honest and relevant to the community. Attachments must be files you have the right to share and must not contain malware, confidential third-party data, or prohibited content. We may remove posts, comments, polls, files, or accounts that violate these terms or create safety, legal, or operational risk.
7. Jobs, Applications, and Hiring
Job listings, candidate profiles, applications, and hiring workflows are provided as tools for users and employers. Users should independently verify opportunities, identities, compensation, contracts, tax obligations, work conditions, and payment arrangements. Employers are responsible for accurate listings, lawful hiring practices, fair treatment of applicants, and compliance with labor, privacy, anti-discrimination, tax, and contractor classification laws that apply to them.
8. Employer Services
Employer accounts may include job posting, applicant management, candidate search, talent saving, company profiles, subscriptions, and AI-assisted hiring review. Employer services must not be used to build external databases, send spam, discriminate unlawfully, request unpaid work beyond reasonable assessment scope, or evade platform safeguards.
9. AI Features
AI mentor, resume review, proposal drafting, mock interview, job post drafting, hiring review, and related features may generate inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable output. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it. AI features do not provide legal, financial, tax, immigration, medical, psychological, or employment advice.
10. Files, Storage, and Security
You may upload resumes, portfolio assets, forum attachments, and other files where supported. You must have permission to upload and share those files. We may limit file size, file type, storage duration, bandwidth, or access. We may scan, block, quarantine, remove, or disable files for security, abuse prevention, or policy reasons.
11. Plans, Payments, and Trials
Paid features, credits, plans, trials, employer access, and owned companion-app access may be subject to additional checkout terms shown at purchase. Vertuelo currently sells one-time 30-day access passes, credit top-ups, and digital access to owned ecosystem products such as Calovie and Augovi. These purchases do not auto-renew, and no card or wallet credential is stored by Vertuelo for recurring charges. Access or credits are delivered digitally to your account after payment confirmation. Taxes, payment processor fees, refunds, upgrades, downgrades, and renewal rules may vary by plan and processor. We may change plan features or pricing with reasonable notice where required.
9A. Vertuelo-Managed Talent Profiles
Directory entries labeled Vertuelo Talent are managed composite personas, not representations of a specific available person. Their displayed histories and portfolio-style examples are synthetic and must not be treated as verified claims about an individual. Contacting a managed profile creates a sourcing request; the selected persona is not hired or messaged directly. Vertuelo may instead present real public freelancers for employer review, and no introduction is made until the employer requests it and Vertuelo completes the process.
12. Intellectual Property
Vertuelo and its software, design, branding, templates, workflows, documentation, and platform content are owned by Vertuelo or its licensors. These terms do not grant you ownership of our intellectual property. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or create competing services from non-public parts of the platform except as allowed by law.
13. Electronic Communications and Notifications
Vertuelo may send essential transactional communications needed to operate and secure your account, including email verification, password reset and password-change notices, purchase or registration confirmations, service updates, workshop notices for events you joined, and similar account messages. These essential communications are enabled by default and may continue even when marketing preferences are disabled. Optional job-match digests, platform and workshop promotions, tips, and newsletters are sent only according to your recorded email preferences. You may change each optional category in Notification Settings or use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email. Unsubscribing from one category does not unsubscribe you from other categories or essential account communications. We retain limited delivery metadata, such as recipient, subject, category, provider reference, status, and timestamps, for security, support, suppression, compliance, and delivery troubleshooting; we do not retain verification links, password-reset links, or complete email bodies in the delivery log.
14. Third-Party Services
Vertuelo may connect with services such as authentication providers, email providers, AI model providers, analytics, payment processors, object storage, job sources, and external links. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites, content, outages, or practices.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, remove content from, or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk, remain inactive, or are required to be restricted by law. You may stop using the service at any time and may request account or data changes through support, subject to legal, security, billing, and operational retention needs.
16. Disclaimers and Limitations
The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Vertuelo disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, accuracy, and error-free operation. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Vertuelo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for hiring outcomes, user conduct, third-party content, files, or external opportunities.
17. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update features, policies, or these terms as Vertuelo evolves. The updated date will show when changes were made. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
18. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the support channel listed in the app or by contacting the Vertuelo team at support@vertuelo.com.
