Australia/ Sydney Joinery estimator

Hi,

ICAD Joinery is looking for an experienced joinery estimator from the Philippines to join our team full-time.

Most of our projects are based in Sydney, so experience estimating joinery projects for the Australian market is essential.

The salary will depend on experience and ability, generally ranging from AUD $1,500 to $2,500 per month, with up to AUD $3,200 available for an exceptional and highly experienced candidate.

The right candidate must:

• Have excellent spoken and written English.
• Communicate professionally with clients through WhatsApp groups, messages and calls.
• Have a positive attitude and perform well under pressure.
• Be smart, efficient, accurate and able to work quickly.
• Ask clear and relevant questions to obtain the information needed.
• Be willing to learn, accept feedback and continually improve.
• Be reliable, committed and passionate about their work.
• Respond promptly to WhatsApp messages and calls during working hours.
• Work independently and manage quotations from start to finish.
• Read architectural plans, drawings and hand-drawn sketches.
• Understand how joinery will be constructed and installed so it can be priced accurately.

9. Your expected monthly salary in AUD.

11. Whether you can work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm Sydney time.

Please also confirm whether you can independently complete detailed take-offs, understand joinery construction, obtain supplier pricing, calculate materials and labour, and prepare professional client-ready quotations.

Shortlisted candidates will be given a small practical estimating task during the online interview to demonstrate how they read plans, calculate costs and prepare a quotation.
