Shopify Store Growth Manager – Build, Launch, Scale & Manage Brand Store

Confidential employer

Ecommerce Growth Operator | Beauty, Health, Wellness and Fitness Brand | Private Label Product Research to Scaled Ads --- We are building a private label beauty, health, wellness, and fitness ecommerce brand, starting with one hero product and scaling into a full brand portfolio over time. We need someone who can own the entire process from product research to a live, selling store under our own brand name. Not someone who waits for direction. Someone who has done this before and can do it again, faster and better. This is not a task based VA role. This is an operator role. You will start from zero, find the winning product yourself, source a supplier who can private label it under our brand, build the store yourself, launch the ads yourself, and scale what works. --- Why private label matters here We are not building a one time dropship test. We are building brand equity we can own, protect margin on, and scale into a real portfolio. That only works if the product carries our name, our packaging, and our identity from day one, not a generic version anyone else can sell too. --- What success looks like A validated hero product with a live, fully built Shopify store within the first few days of starting. First sales within the first two weeks. From there, a clear kill or scale decision backed by real data, and ---------- ntum toward testing the next product in the portfolio. --- What you will actually be doing You will research products in the beauty, health, wellness, and fitness space using more than one method, not just one tool. You are validating real demand through revenue data, active ad counts, ad run duration, and competition levels before a single product moves forward. Once you find a winning concept you will find and vet a supplier who can manufacture or package it under our brand, negotiate minimum order quantities, and build a relationship you can depend on long term. You will build a dedicated Shopify store around that product fast. Premium theme, conversion focused landing page, bundle pricing, and trust elements that make a stranger feel safe buying from a brand they have never heard of. Before anything goes live you set up tracking properly. Facebook Business Manager, pixel installation, event verification, and a secondary attribution tool to cross check your data. Then you launch. You test with a small structured budget, monitor daily performance signals, and make kill or scale decisions based on the numbers. Once a product wins you manage it ongoing while starting research on the next one. --- Tools you need to have real experience with For product research: Kalodata, PipiAds, Facebook Ads Library, and organic TikTok scrolling to catch what is trending before it shows up in the data tools. We want someone who cross references multiple sources, not someone relying on one tool alone. For store building: Shopify and premium conversion focused themes such as Shrine or Elixir, or a close equivalent. For tracking and ads: Facebook Business Manager including pixel setup and event verification, plus a secondary independent attribution tool such as WeTrack or similar. For conversion and retention: bundle pricing apps such as Kaching Bundle, and subscription apps such as Loop Subscription, or close equivalents. For creative: Canva and AI image tools such as Midjourney or Adobe Firefly. For daily workflow: AI assistants such as ChatGPT or Claude. If you have used a direct equivalent to any tool listed, tell us specifically which one and how it compares. --- Trial period and working hours This role starts with a 30 day PAID trial. The purpose is simple, we want to see real execution and reliability before committing long term, not just a good interview. During the trial your working hours need to be 7 PM to 1 AM CDT so we can collaborate and communicate in real time. Communication will be in Slack throughout. If the trial goes well, we move into a long term role, full time or part time depending on what you are looking for, with a base rate plus performance upside tied to the sales you generate. --- You are the right person if You have personally researched and validated a product before spending money on it, using more than one method. You have found and vetted a supplier for private label manufacturing, not just dropshipping. You have built a Shopify store from scratch fast, without needing a template handed to you. You have launched and managed Meta ad campaigns and can walk us through what happened. You can commit to the 7 PM to 1 AM CDT schedule for the full trial period. You move fast and do not need constant supervision once you understand the standards. --- You are not the right fit if You have never done product research on your own. You have never built a Shopify store independently. You have no private label sourcing experience, only basic dropshipping. You have never managed a live ad account with real budget. You cannot commit to the trial hours. You need heavy hand holding to get started. --- How to apply Do not just tell us you can do this. Show us. Start your application with the word "HERO" so we know you read this in full. Right after that, in your first line, tell us how many products you typically need to test to find one validated winner, based on your own experience. Submit a short plan for how you would approach your first product test with us, from research through to launch, including which tools you would use at each step and your estimated timeline to get a store live and ads running. Walk us through a product you personally researched and validated before, including what data convinced you it was worth testing. Tell us about a private label supplier relationship you built and how you managed it. Walk us through a Shopify store you built from scratch, including the theme you used. Tell us which attribution tool you use alongside Facebook Ads Manager and why. Share a Meta ad campaign you ran, the budget, and what happened. Applications that copy and paste generic experience will not be considered. Applications that show a real plan and real process will get a fast response.

Digital Marketing Manager

Confidential employer

R Theory Motorsports is actively looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to take over the marketing role for our business. We are an aftermarket automotive parts brand and we design and sell our own brand of innovative car parts that improve the looks and performance of enthusiast cars in North America, Europe, and Asia. R Theory also has a growing sister brand in the cycling industry. You will be working with both our Motorsports and Cycling brand. We have a growing product line that we put a lot of effort to develop, and we are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to work with us and share our products with the world. Our two brands are at different stages: R Theory Motorsports is established with a proven customer base and existing SEO performance, so the focus there is on efficiency, retention, and getting more from the audience we already have. R Theory Cycleworks is newer and still building awareness and trust in its category, so the focus there is more on education and credibility. We're looking for someone who can recognize and work within that difference, rather than applying one playbook to both. Role & Reporting Structure You will be the sole marketer at the ---------- nt, with aims of growing the marketing team in the future. This is a remote, full-time position (contractor). The founder will stay closely involved in a few specific ways: reviewing content for brand voice and consistency, occasionally contributing content ideas or jumping into content creation as a creative outlet, and weighing in on major strategic direction. Outside of that, you will own the planning and execution of all marketing initiatives — you're not waiting on direction, you're bringing it. What Success Looks Like In your first few months, we'll be looking for you to get a real handle on our brand voice and existing performance (what's worked, what hasn't), tighten up the fundamentals (email flows, conversion, on-page SEO), and come back to us with a clear, sequenced plan for the next 6-12 months across both brands — not just a list of tactics, but a sense of what to prioritize first and why. Must-Have Skills: -Copywriting that resonates with an enthusiast audience -SEO -Email Marketing -Analytics (comfortable reading performance data and translating it into plain-language recommendations) -CRO (conversion rate optimization — improving how well existing traffic converts to sales) -Picture Editing (Canva, Photoshop, etc.) -Video Editing (CapCut, Insta360 Studio, etc.) Strong Plus / Nice-to-Have Skills -Influencer Outreach -Meta and Google Ads Niche-Related Skills -Basic understanding of how mechanical systems operate -Knowledge of how systems in a car work (optional) -Knowledge of how systems in a road or mountain bicycle work (optional) Please apply with: -Your resume -A cover letter sharing your relevant skills and experience -A short writing sample: in 50 words or less, choose one of our products from our website that catches your attention, write your own piece of marketing copy for that product. This is the single most important part of your application, so please don't skip it. -Your thinking on how you would plan the next few months of our marketing to grow the company Applications that skip the writing sample will not be considered, it's the clearest signal of fit for how we work.

Direct-Response Video Editor — Short-Form + VSL Ads (UGC / Story / Animation / Native)

Confidential employer

We're a story-driven DTC brand hiring a direct-response editor to cut ads for Facebook , Instagram, and TikTok. One brand, long-term, real room to grow with us. Read this before applying, because it's the whole job: We are not hiring a videographer. We're hiring an editor who thinks like a marketer. Your work is judged on one thing — did the ad stop the scroll and hold it — not on how cinematic it looks. Clarity beats cleverness. We chase response, not aesthetics. If your instinct with raw footage is to color-grade it, add slick transitions, and "clean it up," we're not a fit — and that's okay. What you'll actually be cutting Ads that feel like a real person posted them, not like a brand ran them — UGC-style testimonials, emotional story ads, animation ads, VSLs, AI-voiceover + b-roll ads, text-on-screen ads, native creatives, hooks, product demos. Raw and real beats polished, every time. The goal is to not make it look like an ad. The craft we expect (this is the standard, not a wishlist) You understand concepts, not just cuts. You get the idea behind an ad — the angle, the belief it shifts, the emotional arc — and you edit to serve it. You can tell why an ad works, second by second, not just that it "looks clean." You're not tied to one format — you can build whatever the concept needs. UGC testimonial, story ad, VSL, AI-voiceover-over-b-roll, text-on-screen, split-screen, before/after, static-to-video, animation. You pick the format that serves the idea and you can cut all of them well. Animation ads. You can build animated story ads and simple 3D/animated explainers that make an invisible mechanism visible — showing the viewer what's happening so the idea lands instantly. Hook in the first 3 seconds. A pattern interrupt that stops the scroll — never a logo or a polite intro. You understand open loops and curiosity gaps and use them to buy the next second. Retention over everything. Every second earns the next. You cut to an emotional arc — relatability ? tension ? relief — not to a checklist of clips. You use contrast to control the eye. Black-and-white with a single accent color, before/after, tension into relief, loud into quiet — visual and emotional contrast to pull attention exactly where it needs to go. B-roll that matches the voiceover word-for-word, and clean text-on-screen that carries the message with the sound off (feeds autoplay muted). Clips run ~3–5s, natural light, no staged studio look, product revealed late — after the story earns it, never up front. Sound design as timing, not decoration. Music, zoom, and SFX move with the emotion — the track shifts at each structural beat, the zoom lands on the emphasis line, the punch hits on the reveal. Keep UGC raw. Slightly awkward, imperfect, conversational — that's the authenticity that converts. Don't polish it out. Native by default: 9:16 vertical, tight or long depending on the concept, fast clean captions/subtitles, no watermarks or bugs. Tools & workflow Editing: Premiere / CapCut / Final Cut — whatever you're fastest and sharpest in. We care about output, not software. Claude is our brain for everything, and it's a big plus if you already work in it: scripts, natural-speech conversion, creative briefs, ad breakdowns, and second-by-second teardowns all run through Claude. The more fluent you are with it, the faster you'll move. Plus whatever helps you execute better — AI voiceover (ElevenLabs), AI animation/video generation (Kling, Seedance), and spy research on the Meta Ad Library / AdSpy to study winners and losers. Show us the tools that make you faster and sharper. You'll live in the research loop: study winners and losers, break them down beat-by-beat, form a hypothesis, iterate fast. You're expected to have opinions on why an ad worked — not just assemble footage. What we provide Raw footage, scripts and hooks, creative direction, winning-ad examples, and our internal training so you learn our exact style and keep getting better. What you keep Base pay plus a performance bonus on every winning ad you cut. The better your ads convert, the more you make. How to apply (read carefully — incomplete applications are skipped) This is the filter, on purpose. Do all three or we move on: 1. Portfolio of real DR ads. 3–5 actual ads you cut — UGC, story, VSL, animation, text-on-screen, whatever you're strongest at — vertical, native, made to sell. No wedding videos, no YouTube intros, no cinematic reels, no motion-graphics showreels. If your best work is polished brand films, we're not your brand. 2. Pick a winning ad you admire (any brand) and tell us, in one paragraph, why it works — second by second. Hook, why it holds, where the emotion turns. We're reading for whether you think in concepts and retention or just "nice edits." 3. Answer this: You get raw phone footage of a customer talking about our product — a little awkward, natural light, not "produced." Do you (a) polish it into a clean cinematic testimonial, or (b) keep it raw and slightly imperfect — and why? Bonus if you've edited ecommerce ads before, can move between formats (UGC, VSL, animation, text-on-screen), work in Claude, communicate clearly, and turn revisions around fast.
