Highly Skilled: Life Insurance Policy Service Admin

I am an independent life insurance broker seeking a highly experienced Virtual Assistant who has worked with life insurance agents and understands the day-to-day operations of managing a book of business.

Right now, too much of my time is spent handling administrative work, checking carrier portals, solving policy issues, and putting out fires instead of focusing on sales and client acquisition. I need someone who can take ownership of operations and help keep everything running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

Managing and monitoring multiple carrier portals
Tracking pending business and following up on outstanding requirements
Calling carrier home offices to resolve underwriting, policy, and service issues
Contacting clients regarding signatures, requirements, policy updates, and service needs
Problem-solving policy issues independently and proactively
Organizing and maintaining CRM records
Assisting with email management and administrative tasks
Helping customize and optimize Go High Level (GHL) workflows, automations, and pipelines
Building systems to automate common policy events, follow-ups, and service processes
Identifying inefficiencies and recommending better operational procedures

The ideal candidate:

Has extensive experience working with life insurance brokers, agencies, or IMOs
Understands underwriting, pending business, carrier processes, and policy servicing
Is highly resourceful and an excellent problem solver
Can work independently with minimal supervision
Has strong communication skills with both clients and carrier representatives
Is proficient with Go High Level and business automation
Thinks like an operations manager, not just an administrative assistant
