Digital Marketing Manager
Curated from source
R Theory Motorsports is actively looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to take over the marketing role for our business. We are an aftermarket automotive parts brand and we design and sell our own brand of innovative car parts that improve the looks and performance of enthusiast cars in North America, Europe, and Asia. R Theory also has a growing sister brand in the cycling industry. You will be working with both our Motorsports and Cycling brand.
We have a growing product line that we put a lot of effort to develop, and we are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to work with us and share our products with the world. Our two brands are at different stages: R Theory Motorsports is established with a proven customer base and existing SEO performance, so the focus there is on efficiency, retention, and getting more from the audience we already have. R Theory Cycleworks is newer and still building awareness and trust in its category, so the focus there is more on education and credibility. We're looking for someone who can recognize and work within that difference, rather than applying one playbook to both.
Role & Reporting Structure
You will be the sole marketer at the ---------- nt, with aims of growing the marketing team in the future. This is a remote, full-time position (contractor). The founder will stay closely involved in a few specific ways: reviewing content for brand voice and consistency, occasionally contributing content ideas or jumping into content creation as a creative outlet, and weighing in on major strategic direction. Outside of that, you will own the planning and execution of all marketing initiatives — you're not waiting on direction, you're bringing it.
What Success Looks Like
In your first few months, we'll be looking for you to get a real handle on our brand voice and existing performance (what's worked, what hasn't), tighten up the fundamentals (email flows, conversion, on-page SEO), and come back to us with a clear, sequenced plan for the next 6-12 months across both brands — not just a list of tactics, but a sense of what to prioritize first and why.

Please apply with:
-Your resume
-A cover letter sharing your relevant skills and experience
-A short writing sample: in 50 words or less, choose one of our products from our website that catches your attention, write your own piece of marketing copy for that product. This is the single most important part of your application, so please don't skip it.
-Your thinking on how you would plan the next few months of our marketing to grow the company
Applications that skip the writing sample will not be considered, it's the clearest signal of fit for how we work.
