About us We're a bootstrapped, product-led software company building WordPress and WooCommerce plugins used by tens of thousands of stores and creators worldwide. Our portfolio covers six products across sales funnels, email marketing, product feeds, virtual tours, cart recovery, and online courses. Our team is spread across Europe and Asia, and we've been building products since 2014. We're looking for our first dedicated SEO Expert to own organic growth across the whole portfolio. You'll be a real member of the team, not a ticket queue. What you'll do Own the SEO roadmap for six product websites and their WordPress.org plugin listings. Run keyword research and build topic clusters around WooCommerce funnels, email marketing, product feeds, virtual tours, and online courses. Audit sites regularly (technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, crawl/index issues, internal linking) and work with our developers to ship fixes. Plan and brief content for our writers; optimize existing articles and roundup/comparison pages that have lost visibility. Build entity SEO and AI-search visibility (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT/Perplexity citations) — schema, brand mentions, structured knowledge. Run link-building and digital PR outreach (guest posts, roundups, partnerships). Track results in Google Search Console, GA4, and Ahrefs; report weekly against clear KPIs (rankings, organic signups, plugin installs). What we're looking for 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally for SaaS, WordPress plugins, or eCommerce. Proven results you can show (rankings, traffic growth, conversions — with proof). Strong with Ahrefs or Semrush, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Rank Math/Yoast. Comfortable with WordPress: you can edit pages, fix on-page issues, and brief developers clearly. Solid understanding of technical SEO and content strategy — not just one or the other. Excellent written English. Self-managed, data-driven, and honest about what's working and what isn't. Bonus points: experience with WordPress plugin SEO, programmatic SEO, entity/AI-search SEO, or email marketing content. What you get Stable full-time role with a company that's been building products since 2014. Paid time off, Philippine holidays observed, and 13th-month pay. Paid tools (Ahrefs, etc.) and a training budget for courses and certifications. Real ownership: you set the strategy, we back you. Long-term growth path toward Head of SEO as the team grows. How to apply Start your message with the word "Organic" so we know you read this fully. Share 2–3 SEO results you're proudest of, with numbers. Tell us in a few sentences how you'd approach SEO for a WordPress plugin that competes with bigger, better-funded rivals. Include your expected monthly salary and earliest start date. Attach your resume or portfolio link. Shortlisted candidates will complete a short paid test task, followed by a video interview.

UGC Brand Manager (Part-time, Remote) We're looking for a part-time UGC Brand Manager for a fast-growing UGC creator. Your job is to find us brand deals and help us go viral. That's it. Remote role. We're based in Bangkok and prefer someone in Thailand or the Philippines for timezone overlap. WHAT WE MAKE Every video follows the same shape: a reaction hook in the first 3 seconds filmed by our creator, a screen demo of the app in the middle, and a benefit or call to action at the end. Here's an example account: ---------- Every brand we work with is an app or software. We don't work with physical products. We'll train you on the UGC side, so you don't need to know it on day one. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Platforms. Log in to Sideshift and the other platforms we're on. Review new campaigns, apply to the 10 best, and manage the inbox, since brands often reach out to us first. Check rates, read the brief, watch the content references, and look the brand up on Instagram and TikTok to see whether other creators are already making content for them. Instagram outbound. Send 10-15 pitch messages to brands using our template. Send 10 DMs to UGC creators asking what deals they're working with. Follow up with anyone who hasn't replied after 3 days. ---------- . Work our UGC communities. Read the deals channels, apply to anything that fits, post asking for referrals where it's allowed, and DM active creators who look like they're having success to find out what's paying well right now. Tracker. Fill it out at the end of every day. What you applied to, who you pitched, who replied, and where each deal stands. Referrals convert best, direct brand DMs second, platform applications third. On a short day you keep the referral and DM work. JUDGING DEALS The core of this job is d ---------- which opportunities are worth our time. Our ideals are a CPM of $1.50 or above and a base of around $700 a month or more, but those trade against each other. A $2 CPM with a $500 base is fine. What doesn't flex: other creators need to already be going viral with that brand, the content has to be straightforward to replicate, and the idea has to be easy to understand. A calorie tracker or an AI image generator works. Anything abstract doesn't. Skip campaigns with no reference videos, campaigns that are 100% scripted, and anything over 45 videos. WHEN A BRAND REPLIES Take initiative and move the conversation forward. Get the brief, the reference videos, the pay terms, the deliverable count, and the deadline. Look the app up on social and see what's already working for them. Then make a call on whether we should pursue it and bring it to me with your reasoning. I confirm terms and contracts, not you. ONCE WE'RE IN A CAMPAIGN Our creator never talks to brands and never reads briefs. Everything reaches her through you, in plain simple language: the video styles to copy with links, the most viral videos for that brand that we can realistically remake, the app link, the pay rate, and any hard requirements like tags or hashtags. From there you're managing the production side, and this is where a lot of the value of the role sits. One of your key responsibilities is helping us go viral. You're effectively our social media manager for that account: telling us which hooks to use, which formats to copy, what's trending in that brand's space, and how to get the most views out of every video. Some apps need screen demo footage of the product in use. When they do, you record it. Case by case, not every brand. COMPENSATION Base retainer paid monthly, plus 10% commission on every deal you close. Deals typically run $500 to $2,000+. Most of our deals pay on a CPM, so you're directly incentivised on views. A video that hits 1 million views at a $2 CPM pays $2,000, and your commission on that is $200. At a $3 CPM it's $300. The more we blow up, the more you make. Part-time contract role, around 10 hours a week to start. You set your own hours, but you need to get results. KPIs are measured: messages sent, applications submitted, replies, and deals signed. YOU'RE A FIT IF YOU Have experience in marketing, social media, influencer work, or brand partnerships. Can find a brand's marketing contact without being handed a list. Communicate clearly in written English, since you'll be dealing with US brand managers. Can make a judgment call and defend it. Can hold a daily routine without supervision. Hands-on UGC or brand partnership experience is a strong plus, either as a creator yourself or from the brand, agency, or talent side. Not a hard requirement if the rest is there. YOU'RE NOT A FIT IF YOU Plan to work the inbox reactively instead of proactively hunting for deals. Need close supervision to stay on a daily routine. Want a role with no measured output. TO APPLY Send me one or two examples of UGC or brand partnership deals you've sourced or managed, including the brand name, creator size, and outcome. If you don't have those, tell me about the closest thing you've done. Then tell me how you'd find me 3 new deals in your first week, plus your availability and rate expectation. THE BIGGER PICTURE Alongside this account, I run a UGC mentorship program for people landing their first brand deals. As this role grows, I want you sourcing opportunities I can pass to students in the program. If you want to eventually manage a pipeline of brand relationships across a network of creators rather than a single account, this is the role that gets you there.

SEO Content & Local Search VA — WordPress, AEO/GEO Rank Local is a growing U.S.-based web design and digital marketing agency looking for a skilled SEO Content & Local Search Virtual Assistant to support ongoing monthly client work. This is not a basic VA position and it is not a pure project-management role. I am looking for someone who understands Local SEO, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, SEO copywriting, AEO/GEO, and WordPress well enough to independently execute recurring client work without needing detailed instructions for every task. The right person should be able to take an assignment such as: > “Build a new city page for this client, optimize it for local search and AI search, publish it in WordPress, add internal links and schema, and make sure it supports the client’s Local SEO strategy.” …and carry the project through to completion. Primary Responsibilities Write high-quality SEO blog articles, service pages, location pages, and landing pages. Research cities, services, competitors, keywords, and local search intent before writing. Create genuinely unique city/location content rather than simply changing city names in a template. Build and publish pages in WordPress. Duplicate existing page layouts and replace/restructure content appropriately. Handle on-page SEO including titles, headings, metadata, internal links, images, alt text, URL structure, and content optimization. Perform Local SEO work both on-site and off-site. Optimize and maintain Google Business Profiles. Work with citations, NAP consistency, directories, local links, reviews/reputation signals, and other local authority opportunities. Analyze local competitors and identify what is helping them rank. Help develop and execute SEO/AEO/GEO strategies. Optimize content for Google Search, Google Maps, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other AI-driven discovery platforms. Create and implement appropriate schema/structured data when needed. Monitor Search Console, rankings, indexing, and other SEO opportunities. Improve existing website pages instead of only producing new content. Help with ongoing monthly client deliverables and recurring SEO tasks. Assist with Rank Local’s own websites and content when client work is lighter. WordPress Skills You do not need to be a senior web developer, but you must be comfortable working inside WordPress. You should be able to: Create and edit pages and posts. Duplicate existing layouts. Format content properly. Add internal and external links. Add/edit images and alt text. Edit metadata. Work with common page builders or Gutenberg. Make basic layout/content corrections. Identify when an issue requires a developer instead of attempting something outside your ability. SEO Skills I Care About Most Strong experience in: Local SEO On-page SEO Off-page SEO SEO copywriting Keyword research Content strategy Service-area and location-page optimization Google Business Profile optimization Local citations and NAP consistency Competitor analysis Internal linking Schema / structured data Search Console WordPress Working knowledge of: AEO GEO AI search optimization Google AI Overviews ChatGPT / Gemini / Perplexity visibility Entity and authority signals I am more interested in someone who understands why something should be done than someone who simply follows an SEO checklist. Writing Ability Is Very Important A large part of this role will involve writing and improving website content. You should be able to write natural, persuasive American-English copy for local businesses without producing generic AI-sounding content. AI tools are welcome and encouraged when used properly, but I do not want someone who simply generates an article with ChatGPT and publishes it without research, editing, fact checking, localization, or critical thinking. The Person I Am Looking For I want someone who: Thinks independently. Notices problems without waiting for me to point them out. Takes ownership of assigned work. Can research something unfamiliar and figure it out. Communicates clearly when something genuinely needs my decision. Does not require constant micromanagement. Is comfortable receiving constructive feedback. Wants a long-term position with room to grow. Hours This position will start part-time. Hours may vary initially based on client workload, but I expect the position to grow as Rank Local continues adding recurring clients. I am open to candidates who are seeking either part-time work or who would eventually like to transition into a larger/full-time role. Please tell me: Your desired hourly rate. How many hours per week you are available. What hours you normally work. How much overlap you can provide with U.S. Eastern Time. To Apply Please send me: 1. A brief introduction about yourself and your SEO experience. 2. Examples of SEO content you personally wrote. 3. Examples of WordPress websites/pages you personally worked on. 4. A Local SEO campaign or project you personally worked on and what you did. 5. Any experience you have with AEO, GEO, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity optimization. 6. Your experience with Google Business Profiles and off-site Local SEO. 7. Your hourly rate and availability. Important: Please do not send a generic application. In your application, answer this question: > A local service business is opening a second operation approximately 1,500 miles away in another state. It is the same company and brand. Would you recommend one website with separate geographic silos, two completely separate websites, or a subdomain for the second market? Explain what factors you would consider before d ---------- . There is not necessarily one automatic answer. I am interested in seeing how you think. This is intended to be a long-term role for the right person. Mark Cass Rank Local
