WHO WE ARE We're a performance-driven skincare brand scaling aggressively on Meta. We don't make pretty videos. We make videos that turn cold traffic into customers. Creative is our #1 growth lever, and AI video generation is now the core of how we produce it. We're looking for someone who has mastered these tools, not someone who's "played with them." THE ROLE You'll be the person who takes a script and a brief and delivers a finished, scroll-stopping ad, generating the visuals, the voice and the edit yourself, mostly with AI. You'll be producing: Complete AI UGC ads — AI-generated presenters/testimonials that look and sound real, from prompt to final export (lip-sync, voice, framing, natural delivery) AI b-roll libraries — product shots, lifestyle scenes, skin close-ups, before/after style sequences, generated on demand and cut into ads AI podcast-style ads — two-host conversational formats, "clip from an interview" style, fully generated Pixar / 3D animated style ads — character-driven explainers, story-based ads, mechanism visualisations Faceless formats — b-roll-heavy VSLs, text-driven scroll-stoppers, motion-graphic hybrids Hook variation batches — multiple AI-generated openings on the same body for A/B testing Real UGC edits — cutting creator footage into tight, retention-driven sequences when we have it This is direct-response advertising. Success is measured in hook rate, hold rate and CPA. Not likes. WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON Producing 10-20+ ad variations per week across multiple concepts Generating AI video (Kling, Seedance, Veo, Sora, Runway, Higgsfield or similar) and AI stills for image-to-video workflows Building consistent AI characters/presenters that can be reused across a campaign AI voiceover and lip-sync (ElevenLabs, HeyGen or similar) Writing prompts that actually get the shot: camera moves, lighting, product accuracy, skin realism Fixing AI artefacts, inconsistencies and product distortions before they ship Captions, text overlays and motion elements for retention Iterating fast on performance data: winners get expanded, losers get cut YOU'RE A FIT IF: You've produced end-to-end AI ads (not just edited footage someone else made) for DTC brands running serious paid social spend You have a portfolio of AI-generated ads with real performance numbers behind them You can generate a believable AI UGC testimonial that doesn't look like AI You've built AI podcast-style or dialogue videos with consistent characters across shots You've produced Pixar/3D-style animated content with AI tools You know the strengths and limits of each generator and pick the right one per shot You understand direct-response: hooks, open loops, pattern interrupts, pacing for retention You know why the first 3 seconds matter more than everything else combined You've edited for Meta, TikTok and/or YouTube Shorts You can work fast at volume without sacrificing quality BONUS POINTS: Experience in skincare, beauty or health/wellness DTC Experience keeping a physical product (bottle, packaging, label) accurate across AI-generated shots You've produced AI ads that scaled past $100k+ spend French-language ads or French-market experience YOU'RE NOT A FIT IF: Your AI experience is a few test clips, not shipped ads Your portfolio is mostly brand content, music videos or YouTube vlogs You've never worked on performance-measured campaigns You think "good editing" means cinematic transitions and colour grading You can't deliver multiple variations quickly You need frame-by-frame instructions for every edit TOOLS WE USE (familiarity preferred): Premiere Pro or CapCut (required) AI video: Seedance, Kling, Veo, Sora, Runway, Higgsfield, HeyGen AI voice: ElevenLabs AI image: ChatGPT2, Nano Banana or similar (for image-to-video) Google Docs for briefs and scripts HOW WE WORK You'll receive creative briefs with scripts, visual direction and reference ads when possible Turnaround: 24-48 hours for standard ads, same-day for hook variations Feedback is direct, specific and performance-driven We iterate fast: winning hooks get expanded, losing concepts get cut Communication via Slack COMPENSATION Competitive project-based or hourly rate (based on experience) Ongoing retainer as creative volume scales Performance bonuses tied to winning ads (ads that scale get rewarded) TO APPLY, PLEASE INCLUDE: Portfolio link with specific examples of AI-generated performance ads (AI UGC, podcast-style, 3D/Pixar style, AI b-roll). Label which tools were used on each. Brief case study (2-3 sentences) on an AI ad you produced that performed well and the result (CPM, CPA, spend scaled, etc.) Your AI stack: which generators you use for what, and why Your editing setup: software, hardware, weekly output capacity Answer this question: "What's the #1 giveaway that an AI-generated ad is AI, and how do you avoid it?" Important: Applications without an AI ad portfolio or that don't answer the screening question will not be reviewed. We're looking for someone who geeks out on conversion rates as much as on getting the perfect generation. If that's you, we want to talk.

I'm looking for a talented short-form video editor to help me build my personal brand on Instagram. The editing itself isn't extremely complicated. What matters most is that you understand short-form content: hooks, pacing, storytelling, retention and what makes someone keep watching. What you'll be working on There are two main types of videos: 1. Story-driven short-form videos You'll receive a storyline/script and access to existing footage from my life, businesses, travel, etc. Your job is to turn that into an engaging short-form video by: Finding and selecting the right footage Using photos or other visuals when footage isn't available Creating a strong visual story around the script Keeping the pacing engaging Adding captions, music, sound effects and simple motion graphics where useful You don't need to create crazy edits. The goal is to make the story interesting to watch. 2. Talking-head videos These will be simpler: Cut out pauses and unnecessary parts Make the delivery feel faster and more natural Add captions Add relevant B-roll/footage where it improves the video Occasionally add simple graphics or visual references What I'm looking for The biggest thing is that you understand the short-form game. I don't want someone who just follows editing instructions. I want someone who can watch a video and think: *"This part is too slow."* *"We need a visual change here."* *"The first 2 seconds aren't strong enough."* *"This version would probably retain viewers better."* We'll test videos, see what performs, and iterate based on the results. You should be comfortable learning what works for my content over time and getting better together. Requirements Experience editing Reels / TikToks / Shorts Strong sense of pacing and storytelling Good English Able to work independently Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating Reliable and responsive Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar is fine This will initially be focused on my personal brand, but there may also be additional editing work for some of my businesses. To apply Please send: 1. 3 examples of short-form videos you've edited that best show your storytelling/editing ability 2. A short explanation of why you think those videos work 3. Which editing software you use 4. Your hourly rate 5. How many hours per week you're available Please start your application with the word STORY so I know you've read the full post. I'm looking for someone I can work with long-term, not just for a few videos.

ABOUT US We are a small Australian company. We build websites and get them found in search, including inside AI answers. Our clients are in a range of industries. We all work remotely. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a writer with a keen eye for fact-checking. Every article starts as an AI draft, for our clients and for our own website. Your work is to turn that draft into something worth publishing. Some need checking and a light edit. Others you would rewrite most of yourself. WHAT YOU WOULD DO Fact-check our drafts. Open every link and confirm the source says what the article claims. Rewrite the parts that come back weak, which is sometimes most of the article. Edit each article into the client's style, which we will give you. Tell us when something is wrong, including when it is our mistake. WHAT YOU GET FROM US The topic, the client's brand notes, and a tool that flags claims worth a second look. The tool is a starting point rather than an answer, so the final call is yours. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Excellent written English. The ability to cut. Four paragraphs that say one thing become one paragraph. Comfort telling us we are wrong. We will be glad you did. Experience checking facts is a bonus, whether that came from journalism, sub-editing, publishing or academic editing. SEO experience is a bonus too. Neither is required. HOURS We work Melbourne time, so your day overlaps with most of ours. No night shifts. HOW WE HIRE Two short paid tests, $25 and $15, then a paid trial article. We pay for all of it either way, and we will tell you how you did. Your first month is a trial for both of us. HOW TO APPLY Please start your message with the word "offset", so we know you have read this. Then answer two questions: 1. What writing or editing work have you done? 2. Have you ever caught a mistake in something before it went out? What happened? Keep it short. Two good answers tell us more than a long application.

About the work We run a YouTube documentary channel covering the darker side of what's happening in the world — scandals, corruption, fraud, the stories behind how things really work. Our style references are James Jani and Magnates Media. Watch several videos from both before applying. If that kind of storytelling doesn't excite you, this isn't the right job. James Jani: ---------- Another New Documentary Channel Example: ---------- We only do documentaries. Nothing else. What you'll do: Write fully researched, deeply engaging documentary scripts. That means: Real research. Primary sources where possible. Every claim has to hold up, because getting a fact wrong on this kind of channel costs us the audience's trust permanently. Structure that holds attention for the full runtime — an opening that earns the next ten minutes, and tension carried all the way to the end. Writing for narration. It has to sound right read aloud, not just look right on the page. Advising us. If you know this format better than we do, say so. We want a collaborator, not a typist. AI: strongly discouraged. We're hiring a writer, not an operator. If you use AI at all, it should be minimal and for support — organizing research (very minimal, you need to prove the facts), not generating prose. We read closely and we will ask you about your process. Be upfront about it. Requirements: Proven experience writing documentary or long-form YouTube scripts Strong understanding of YouTube — retention, hooks, why people click and why they leave Excellent written English, storytelling instincts, and research discipline Reliable and communicative. Tell us before a deadline slips, not after. Proof of past work. Applications without it will not be read. Send scripts you wrote, and links to the finished videos where possible. If you've written for named creators or channels, that's a big plus — tell us who. Answer these 4 questions in your application. Skip them and we skip you: 1) Which YouTube channels or creators have you written for? Send links to the videos and tell us which parts were yours. 2) What's the longest script you've written, and what part of it was hardest to get right? 3) Pitch us one story idea for this channel in three sentences, and tell us why someone would click on it. 4) Tell us honestly where AI fits into your process, if at all. We'd rather hear "I use it to organize research notes" than a denial we'll find out about later. Start your application with the word PAPERTRAIL so we know you read to the end.

This is not an entry-level position and is not a role for someone who primarily relies on Canva templates, pre-made designs, or AI-generated artwork. We are looking for someone who can start with raw photographs, brand assets, logos, text, and a creative direction and build a polished, professional finished design from scratch using Adobe Photoshop and other professional Adobe tools. You should be equally comfortable creating a completely new design as you are taking an existing image and transforming it into something dramatically better. What You'll Be Creating Projects may include: Website graphics Blog featured images Social media graphics Advertising graphics Promotional materials Event graphics Digital advertisements Flyers Posters Sales materials Service graphics Photo composites Before-and-after graphics Website banners and hero images Branded marketing materials YouTube thumbnails Presentation graphics Print-ready marketing materials The work will vary significantly, so we need someone who can think creatively rather than simply follow templates. Advanced Photoshop Skills Are Required Photoshop will be a major part of this position. You should have advanced experience with: Professional photo retouching Skin retouching while maintaining natural texture Color correction Color grading Exposure correction Object removal Background removal Background replacement Hair masking and detailed selections Layer masks Adjustment layers Smart Objects Blend modes Advanced selections Perspective correction Image reconstruction Compositing multiple photographs Matching lighting between multiple images Matching color between multiple photographs Creating realistic shadows Creating realistic reflections Cleaning distracting elements from photographs Extending or rebuilding backgrounds Product and equipment retouching Creating depth and separation within compositions Preparing graphics for web and print Non-destructive Photoshop workflows You should be capable of combining several completely different photographs into one image and making the final composition look intentional and believable. Photo Compositing A major part of this position involves taking existing photography and turning it into professional marketing imagery. For example, you may be provided: A photograph of a person A photograph of an event A photograph of equipment A venue photograph Logos Brand assets Text Multiple reference images You may then need to combine those elements into one cohesive advertisement or marketing graphic. We need someone who understands: Light direction Perspective Scale Depth Shadows Highlights Color temperature Image resolution Composition The finished graphic should not look like several photographs pasted together. It should look like one professionally created image. Graphic Design Skills Beyond Photoshop ability, you must have a strong understanding of professional graphic design. You should understand: Visual hierarchy Typography Font pairing Spacing Alignment Composition Negative space Contrast Balance Brand consistency Color theory Layout Advertising design Marketing design Designing for different aspect ratios Designing for mobile versus desktop Creating graphics that communicate quickly and clearly We are looking for someone who understands the difference between something that is simply technically correct and something that actually looks great. Creative Direction We do not want to provide exact instructions for every design. Sometimes you may receive a project that simply says: "We need a graphic promoting this service. Here are the photos, logo, and information." You should be able to determine: What photographs should be used Which photographs should not be used How the composition should be structured Where the viewer's eye should go first What information should be emphasized How much text should appear What typography works best How the brand should be represented Whether the design needs to feel luxury, energetic, corporate, modern, dramatic, clean, etc. A senior designer should be able to bring creative ideas to the project rather than waiting for every creative decision to be made for them. Adobe Creative Suite Advanced Photoshop experience is mandatory. Experience with the following is also highly preferred: Adobe Illustrator Adobe InDesign Adobe Lightroom Adobe Acrobat Adobe Bridge Illustrator experience is particularly valuable for: Vector graphics Logo manipulation Icons Typography Print graphics Scalable design elements No AI-Generated Design We are specifically looking for traditional professional design and photo-editing skills. We want someone who understands how to actually use Photoshop. You should be capable of performing professional: Selections Masking Retouching Compositing Color correction Background replacement Image manipulation Typography Layout without depending on AI to create the work for you. Our goal is to maintain control over the quality, accuracy, branding, and authenticity of our imagery. Explain why you made specific design decisions. Recognize when an image or concept isn't working. Maintain consistency across an entire brand. Work quickly without sacrificing quality. Organize Photoshop files professionally. Maintain clean layers and editable source files. Follow established naming and file-management systems. Prepare files correctly for web, social media, and print. Review your own work before submitting it. Catch spelling, alignment, resolution, and formatting problems. What We're NOT Looking For This position is probably not the right fit if your primary experience is: Canva templates AI image generation AI-generated advertisements Template-based social media design Basic Photoshop editing Simple background removal Drag-and-drop graphic creation Those tools have their place, but this position requires someone with professional-level Photoshop and graphic-design skills. We need someone who can actually build, edit, manipulate, and refine the artwork. Portfolio Requirements A portfolio is required. Your portfolio should demonstrate actual professional design work and preferably include: Photo composites Before-and-after photo editing Advertising graphics Marketing graphics Website graphics Social media campaigns Event or entertainment graphics Professional retouching Typography-focused designs Photoshop-heavy projects We are particularly interested in seeing projects where you took multiple source photographs or assets and created an entirely new finished composition. Examples of your strongest Photoshop compositing work. Examples of professional photo retouching. Examples of marketing or advertising designs. Your normal turnaround time for design projects. Please also tell us which three projects in your portfolio best demonstrate your Photoshop ability and briefly explain what you personally did to create each image. We want to evaluate your: Creativity Composition Photo-editing ability Attention to detail Typography Ability to follow a brand Ability to interpret creative direction Layer organization Overall professional judgment We're looking for a designer whose work makes someone stop and say: "That looks professionally done." If you are a highly experienced designer who genuinely enjoys Photoshop, photo manipulation, compositing, and creating polished visual marketing materials from scratch, we'd like to see your work.

Fact-check AI-generated material. Rewrite content so it sounds natural. Remove generic or repetitive AI language. Add original insight and business-specific information. The Role We're a DTC brand that lives and dies by creative, and we're looking for an AI video editor who can generate highly realistic, believable AI video — not the uncanny, obviously-synthetic stuff, but footage and avatars that hold up as real ad creative in the feed. You'll turn prompts, product assets, and UGC into scroll-stopping ads for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, using AI generation to produce content that would be slow, expensive, or impossible to shoot. This is a craft-plus-volume role. The bar is realism: if your AI-generated humans, environments, and product shots pass as authentic and convert like real footage, you'll thrive here. What You'll Own Generating photorealistic AI video — lifelike avatars/spokespeople, realistic environments, and product footage that reads as genuine, not synthetic. Editing direct-response ad creative for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube — hooks, UGC-style edits, VSLs, listicles, and demos built to convert. High-volume variant production — spinning winning concepts into many testable variations (hooks, avatars, scenes, captions, pacing, CTAs, aspect ratios). Realism QA — catching and fixing the tells that break believability: warped hands, off lip-sync, unnatural motion, lighting mismatches, artifacting. Format discipline — native 9:16, 4:5, and 1:1 cuts optimized per placement. What You Bring A portfolio of highly realistic AI-generated video — this is the core requirement. Show us AI footage or avatars that are hard to clock as synthetic. Deep, hands-on command of AI video generation tools — e.g., Kling, Seedance, Veo, HeyGen/Synthesia (realistic avatars), ElevenLabs (voice/lip-sync) — and the prompting and post skills to push each toward realism. Strong editing and compositing fundamentals (Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci, CapCut) to grade, retime, clean up, and blend AI output into a seamless finished ad. A real point of view on DTC / direct-response creative — hooks, retention, sound-off editing, and why the first 3 seconds matter. Sharp eye for the details that separate believable AI from uncanny, plus speed and consistency at volume. Nice to Have Motion graphics/VFX and compositing chops, custom avatar or voice-clone creation, image-to-video and upscaling workflows (e.g., Topaz), familiarity with Meta/TikTok ad and AI-disclosure policies, and a sense for testing angles. How to Apply Send your portfolio with: your most realistic AI-generated clip (and how you made it), a DTC ad you edited that performed well, and a rough sense of how many ad variants you can turn around in a week.
