Long-form YouTube Video Editor
Confidential employer
After Effects
Video Editing
Adobe Premiere Pro
About the Role
We're hiring a long-form video editor for a YouTube channel. Three videos a week, 10 to 20 minutes each, edited in one consistent style. Talking-head footage, cut properly, with animations and graphics where they earn their place. Long-term, ongoing role - we're looking for the person who edits this channel for the next few years, not for one project.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Edit three 10-20 minute videos per week, every week
- Cut for pace and clarity: remove dead air, keep the story moving, never let a point drag
- Build animations, text, graphics and b-roll into the edit where they add something
- Hold one consistent look across every video so the channel feels like one channel
- Build a reusable library of animations, templates and presets so the same asset gets made once, not twenty times
- Keep every project clean and organised so any video can be reopened months later
REQUIRED
- A portfolio of long-form videos you've edited on real channels
- Adobe Premiere Pro daily, at a professional level
- Experience with ai video generation to generate AI brolls
- After Effects at a level where you can build and animate graphics yourself, not just drop in templates
- Editing that optimises retention, not just editing that looks good.
- Disciplined file management: naming, bins, b-roll libraries, reusable animation folders, clean project handover
- Reliable output at three videos a week without being chased
- Decent written English for briefs and async feedback
COMPENSATION
- Monthly salary, or per finished video
