BEFORE YOU APPLY — KNOCKOUTS (must be YES) 1. Are you willing to work over 40 hours a week? YES 2. Are you willing to work over the weekend? YES 3. Are you completely fluent in English (written and spoken)? YES Paid Media Buyer – Meta & Google (E-commerce Focus) Connect Social · Full-time · Remote (Worldwide) · Mid–Senior Connect Social is a performance marketing partner for e-commerce and DTC brands. We've worked with 120+ brands across subscription, established DTC, celebrity/creator, and high-stakes niches including politics. We run paid media, email/SMS, CRO, creative, and influencer under one roof — which means the media buyer here isn't handed a black box. You see the whole funnel, and you're accountable for what happens in it. We're hiring one senior Paid Media Buyer. Location is open globally. English must be completely fluent (written and spoken). This is a high-output remote seat: we expect people who can sustain 40+ hours/week and are willing to work weekends when accounts or launches need it. If that is not a hard yes, do not apply. Before you apply — answer these (must be YES to both) 1. Are you willing to work over 40 hours a week? 2. Are you willing to work over the weekend? If either answer is no, this role is not a fit. Applications that do not confirm both will be declined. What you will own Full ownership of a book of e-commerce accounts on Meta and Google — strategy, build, launch, optimization, and the number at the end of the month Media planning and budget allocation across platforms, tied to blended targets, not in-platform vanity metrics Structured creative testing: writing briefs, reading results, and telling our creative team what to make next based on data — not taste Feed and Shopping health on the Google side, including PMax, brand/non-brand separation, and search term hygiene Measurement integrity: CAPI, server-side tracking, and reconciling platform-reported numbers against actual business results Client-facing reporting and calls — presenting performance, defending decisions, and telling a founder the truth when a month goes sideways Diagnosing accounts that are underperforming and having a specific point of view on why, backed by evidence Non-negotiable qualifications Read this section carefully. If you don't clear these bars, this role isn't the right fit. English: Completely fluent in English (written and spoken). Client calls and Slack are in English. Hours: Willing and able to work 40+ hours/week and weekends when needed. Overlap with US Eastern business hours for client calls is required. Scale: You've personally managed at least $5M+ in lifetime ad spend, or you're currently running $200K+/month sustained across your book of accounts. Not agency-wide spend you were adjacent to — spend you had your hands in. Tenure: 3+ years buying media specifically for e-commerce/DTC. Lead gen, B2B, and app install experience is fine as a supplement, but it isn't a substitute. Both platforms: Deep, current, hands-on experience in both Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads. Not "I've dabbled in Google." We need someone who can build a PMax campaign and fix a broken product feed without escalating it. Business math: You're fluent in blended ROAS, MER, contribution margin, CAC, AOV, and LTV. You understand why a 2.1x in-platform ROAS can be a great month or a disaster depending on the P&L, and you can explain which one it is. Measurement: You've implemented or overseen server-side tracking and CAPI. You've worked with a third-party attribution tool (Triple Whale, Northbeam, or similar) and you know where those numbers lie. Creative literacy: You can look at 40 ads and tell us which 3 to scale, which 5 to iterate, and why. You understand that creative is the primary targeting lever, and you can brief it clearly. Receipts: You can walk us through specific accounts you've scaled — starting point, ending point, what you changed, and what you'd do differently. Real numbers, real timelines. Setup: Reliable high-speed internet, quiet space for client calls, and your own computer capable of running Ads Manager / Sheets / Meet without friction. You'll stand out if you have Experience navigating ad account restrictions, policy appeals, and compliance-sensitive verticals TikTok and/or Truth Social buying experience Experience running incrementality or geo-lift testing You've taken an account from healthy to great and pulled one back from the edge — both skills, not just one The mentality we are hiring for Skills can be taught. This part can't. You figure it out. When you hit something you've never seen before — a new platform update, a tracking break, an account structure you didn't build — your first instinct is to go find the answer, not to ask who's handling it. You'll have support here and you'll never be left stranded, but you should be the kind of person who shows up to the conversation with a hypothesis already formed. You're a perfectionist about your output. Nothing leaves your hands that you're not proud to put your name on. No typos in ad copy. No mismatched UTMs. No report with a number that doesn't tie out. If it's 90% done, it's not done, and you know the difference between the two without being told. Your attention to detail is uncomfortable. You're the person who notices the landing page headline doesn't match the ad, catches the duplicated audience exclusion, and spots the $400 spending in a paused-but-not-really-paused ad set. Small things compound in this job. Missing them costs real money. You're relentlessly curious. You're reading changelogs, testing things in your own accounts, and following what's actually working right now — not what worked in 2023. This industry rewrites itself every six months and you find that energizing rather than exhausting. You own the outcome. When a campaign underperforms, you show up with the diagnosis and the plan before anyone asks. You don't hide behind the algorithm, iOS, or a bad creative cycle. You also speak up early when something isn't working — bad news travels fast here, and that's by design. You operate independently. We're remote. Nobody is watching your calendar. You manage your own priorities, hit your own deadlines, and communicate proactively enough that no one has to chase you for a status update. You care about the client's business, not just the account. Our clients aren't campaign IDs. Your success is measured by whether their business grew — and we treat their success as our own. How to apply 1. Confirm in your application / cover note that you answer YES to both: (a) willing to work 40+ hours/week, and (b) willing to work weekends. 2. Include your LinkedIn (or portfolio), location/timezone, and 2–3 account receipts (spend scale + outcomes — anonymized is fine). 3. Apply through the board where you found this post. Are you an A player? We want you on our team! Here's the wrong version of this role: someone who logs on, asks what they should work on, sends three "just checking if this looks right?" messages, and waits. We already know what needs to be made. We wrote it down. If the brief and the brand bible are sitting in your queue and you still need a call to start, this isn't a fit. Here's the right version: you pull a task, read the brief once, look at the last three approved assets for that client, and build something that looks like it belongs next to them. You submit it. It's right the first time more often than it isn't. When something is genuinely ambiguous, you ask specific questions in one message and keep working on something else while you wait. What you'll make Short-form video (Reels, TikToks, paid ad cuts) and the static side of it: carousels, feed graphics, flyers, ad creative. Real small businesses with real ad spend behind some of it. Multiple clients, multiple brand voices, switched between in the same afternoon. Tools you should already be fluent in CapCut and DaVinci Resolve or equivalent for video. Photoshop and the Adobe suite or equivalent for design. Canva for anything going into a client's hands. We won't train you on these. We will absolutely train you on our clients. How this works You're online during a set daily window so revisions and the occasional rush don't sit overnight. Inside that window, nobody hovers. There's no no hour-by-hour reporting. What we measure is whether assets land on time, in the naming convention, at the right quality, and how fast you respond when a revision comes in. The rules that aren't negotiable: brand bible before you start, naming convention on every file, new version every time (never overwrite), and when you're blocked you say so immediately instead of quietly stalling. Two people review your work and both will tell you plainly when something misses. Who we're looking for We're a growing agency, and we're building the team that takes us to the next stage. Your work is seen by the people who d ---------- things, on the day you do it. We're hiring for a seat, not a project. We'd rather train one person properly over several years than churn through six editors in one. So we care less about whether you know every shortcut in Resolve today and more about whether you'll know them in six months because you went and learned them on your own. As we grow, the people who grew with us get first claim on what comes next. What we're actually looking for in a person: You tell the truth about your work. If you missed a deadline, you say so before we find out. If you didn't understand the brief, you say that too, instead of guessing and hoping. We've never once been upset with someone for saying "I don't know how to do this yet." We have been upset with silence. You communicate without being chased. A short message that says what's done, what's stuck, and what you need is worth more to us than an hour of perfect work we didn't know was happening. Going quiet is the single fastest way to lose this job. You get better on purpose. You watch how other editors cut, you notice when a style is shifting, you bring an idea occasionally instead of only executing. Nobody here will build you a curriculum. The people who do well are the ones who improve because they wanted to. You move without being pushed. When the queue is empty you say so instead of waiting to be found. When something is obviously broken you flag it. When you finish early you ask what's next. That instinct is most of what we mean by independent, and you either have it or you don't. You take criticism as information. Your work gets reviewed, and you'll be told plainly when something misses. It's not personal and it isn't a comment on you. Editors who take feedback as an insult burn out fast. Editors who take it as data get very good, very quickly. What we'll give back: Honest feedback, consistent and on-time pay, clear briefs, and real autonomy inside your shift. We won't message you after hours. We won't ask you to pretend to be busy. And if you're good, we'll keep you for years and grow the role around you. We care about all members of our team and want to see you grow and succeed in life. If this sounds like a fit for you - Send over your portfolio for a chance to enter the trial task phase

Thrive Alliance is a U.S. based K to 8 online school. We make one commitment to every family who enrolls, and we put a number on it: one full grade level of improvement in twelve weeks. We are hiring PRC licensed teachers to deliver that outcome, and we are hiring for the long term. How the teaching works Teaching is one on one, in sixty minute classes, through Google Meet. Each student meets the same teacher twice a week and stays with that teacher. We do not rotate teachers through students, because a result that cannot be traced to a teacher is not a result we can build on. Every teacher receives a student's documented grade level gap before the first class: where the student tests, what is missing, and the order to address it in. That comes from MobyMax, the adaptive platform we teach on. It assesses each student continuously and sets the next target from that student's own results. Teachers do not build lessons from scratch, and no prior experience with the platform is required. Training is completed before the first class. Class time and schedule Classes run from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM US Central Time, Monday through Thursday. Teachers choose their own hours inside that range. The minimum commitment is four hours a day and the maximum is six. Because the range is exactly six hours, a six hour day means the full range with no gaps. That comes to 16 to 24 teaching hours per week. Fridays and weekends are not scheduled. Compensation Pay is $4.00 USD for each hour taught, sent by Wise every two weeks on a fixed date. Four hours a day comes to approximately $277 per month and six hours a day to approximately $416. A bonus of $200 USD is paid when 80 percent or more of a teacher's students gain a full grade level within a twelve week cycle. What Thrive Alliance provides Full training on the platform and on our teaching system, completed before the first class. Two weeks shadowing a senior teacher before a teacher takes on students of their own. A named operations manager as a single point of contact, reachable the same day. Every student's gap documented in advance. Requirements Active PRC teaching license and LET passer status. At least one year teaching or tutoring K to 8. Spoken and written English strong enough for live one on one teaching with U.S. elementary students. A reliable internet connection and a quiet space suitable for video. Helpful but not required: prior online tutoring experience, familiarity with U.S. curriculum standards, and experience with an adaptive platform such as MobyMax, IXL, or Khan Academy. To apply Provide your PRC license number. State the maximum number of hours you can teach between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM US Central Time, Monday through Thursday, and which hours those are. Begin your response with the word Alliance to confirm you have read the full posting. Job type: Independent contractor. Work location: Remote. This is ongoing work, not seasonal. We are building a teaching staff we intend to keep.

We are looking for a highly capable, thoughtful and proactive Customer Support Specialist to join our growing e-commerce company. This is not a role where we are looking for someone who simply copies and pastes responses. We are building a company with the ambition to grow into a multi-million-dollar e-commerce business, and we are looking for people who want to grow with us along the way. At this stage, your main responsibility will be customer support. But for the right person, there is significant room to grow into a larger role within our company as our team, order volume and operations expand. What We Are Looking For We need someone who can work within clear systems, prompts, guidelines and SOPs — while still being able to think for themselves. You should understand that great customer service is not always about following a script word for word. Different customers require different approaches. Sometimes a customer needs a short and direct answer. Sometimes they need reassurance. Sometimes they are frustrated and need to feel heard before a solution is offered. Sometimes the best decision is not explicitly written in a prompt, and you need to use your own judgment. We are looking for someone who understands that difference. You should be able to read a customer's message and naturally determine: What is the customer actually asking? How frustrated or concerned is this customer? How warm, social or direct should my response be? What solution makes the most sense in this situation? Is this something I can solve myself or should I escalate it? How can I protect both the customer experience and the interests of the company? Our goal is for customers to feel like they are communicating with a real, thoughtful person — not a customer service script. Your Responsibilities You will be responsible for: Responding to customer email s professionally and efficiently Handling questions regarding orders, shipping, tracking, products, sizing, returns and refunds Resolving complaints and difficult customer situations calmly Following our internal customer service prompts, policies and SOPs Using your own judgment when a situation requires a more personal approach Adjusting your tone depending on the customer's situation Identifying situations that could potentially lead to disputes, chargebacks or negative customer experiences Looking for solutions instead of simply forwarding problems Escalating important or unusual situations when necessary Keeping customer communication organized and accurate Learning from previous cases and improving your decision-making over time Providing feedback when you notice recurring customer issues or operational problems As the business grows, responsibilities may expand. You are someone who: Has excellent written English Your English should feel natural, professional and human. Has strong social intelligence You understand tone, emotion and context. You know when to be warm and empathetic and when to be concise and solution-focused. Can follow instructions extremely well We work with systems, templates, prompts and clear processes. Attention to detail is very important. Can also think independently We do not want someone who becomes stuck as soon as a situation is slightly different from the SOP. Hiring: Direct Response Video Editor & AI Creative Producer Competitor ad recreation • Long-form VSLs • AI UGC • AI doctors/experts • Cartoon ads • Swedish, Danish & English localization Read this first We are not hiring someone whose main goal is to make videos look cinematic or aesthetically pleasing. We are hiring someone who understands that a paid ad has one job: stop the right person, hold their attention, build belief and make them take action. You should be able to receive a competitor ad, a script or a rough concept and return a complete, conversion-ready creative. That includes reverse-engineering the reference, finding or generating every necessary visual, producing voiceovers, creating captions, editing the video and delivering finished variations for testing. If you need us to prepare a folder containing every clip before you can begin, this role is not for you. If you can independently turn a script or reference ad into a finished ad that feels native, credible and built to sell, keep reading. Who we are We are a growing direct-response DTC brand in the health and wellness space. Paid social and creative are central to our growth, and we test both short-form ads and long-form VSLs across Meta and other platforms. We are building an ongoing creative operation rather than hiring a different freelancer for every project. The goal is to find an editor and AI creative producer who learns our products, customers, winning angles and performance data—and becomes more valuable with every batch we produce. This starts with a lower, paid project volume so we can evaluate the fit on both sides. If your work performs and the collaboration runs smoothly, the volume, responsibility and compensation will increase. The long-term goal is a stable position with ownership over a large part of our creative pipeline. What you will actually be doing 1. Reverse-engineering and recreating winning ads We actively research ads that are working in other markets and for adjacent or competing products. You will often receive a reference ad and be asked to rebuild it for our product and market. This is not blind copying. Your job is to identify why the original works and preserve those conversion-driving elements while replacing the brand, product, claims, language, visuals and market context. You must be able to break down and recreate: The hook and first three seconds Script structure and sales psychology Pacing, cuts and pattern interrupts Visual sequence and shot selection Demonstrations and mechanism explanations Proof, testimonials and credibility elements Captions, on-screen text and callouts Voiceover style, energy and timing Music, sound design and emotional shifts Offer presentation and call to action Some assignments will require a close, shot-by-shot recreation. Others will require you to preserve the underlying structure while producing an original execution for our brand. You may receive only the reference ad, product information and a few brand assets. You are expected to solve the rest independently. 2. Localizing ads into Swedish, Danish and English You will recreate and localize ads for Swedish-, Danish- and English-speaking markets. Localization does not mean translating every sentence word for word. The finished ad must sound as if it was originally written and produced for that market. You will be responsible for: Adapting scripts, hooks and CTAs into natural market-specific language Preserving the meaning, rhythm and persuasion of the original Adjusting examples, currency, cultural references and terminology when necessary Creating or sourcing suitable native-sounding voiceovers Timing the edit around the localized voiceover rather than forcing a translation into the original timing Producing accurate subtitles and on-screen text in each language Flagging awkward or questionable wording before production Native-level Swedish or Danish is a strong advantage. If you are not fluent, you must have a reliable localization workflow and be comfortable working with approved translations and feedback from native speakers. 3. Producing long-form VSLs You must be comfortable editing sales videos from approximately 2 to 10+ minutes—not only 15-second social clips. We provide the script or a proven reference. You turn it into a video that holds attention throughout the entire argument. That includes: Mapping a visual plan to every section of the script Finding or creating enough visual variety to prevent retention from collapsing Using cuts, zooms, graphics, captions and pattern interrupts intentionally Visualizing problem and solution mechanisms clearly Building emotional story sequences rather than placing random stock clips over narration Introducing the product at the correct point in the story Showing proof, demonstrations, testimonials, reviews and offer elements credibly Creating visual callbacks and open loops Maintaining consistent pacing across several minutes Delivering different hooks or openings for the same proven body when requested You need to understand that a long-form VSL cannot feel like a slideshow. Every shot must help explain, prove, intensify or move the story forward. 4. Sourcing footage independently You will be responsible for finding the footage required by the script. Sources may include: Licensed stock libraries Creator or UGC footage that is cleared for commercial use Organic social content used as a research reference and then recreated appropriately Product footage supplied by us Screen recordings Public-domain or properly licensed archival footage AI-generated images and video Custom graphics, animations and mechanism visualizations You should know how to research visual references on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other platforms, identify the exact type of scene the script needs, and then source, license or recreate an appropriate version for commercial use. You must not simply place random lifestyle clips over a voiceover. If the script says a woman wakes at 2:13 AM, presses the same point near her shoulder blade and opens her laptop, the visuals should communicate that exact moment as convincingly as possible. 5. Generating AI footage and complete AI ads AI production is a core part of this role, not an occasional bonus. You must already be able to generate usable commercial footage and know how to fix common AI problems through prompting, reference images, shot design, iteration, compositing, cleanup and upscaling. Examples of what you may need to create: Credible doctor, physiotherapist or expert-style presenters UGC-style customers speaking naturally to camera Product demonstrations that cannot be filmed practically Medical or anatomical mechanism visualizations Before-and-after scenarios without misleading viewers Consistent characters appearing across multiple scenes Story-driven scenes in homes, offices, clinics and everyday environments AI product shots and controlled product placement Animated explainer sequences Cartoon and character-led ads Talking avatars, lip-sync and multilingual versions Visual metaphors for pain, pressure, stress, sleep or relief Complete ads produced primarily or entirely with AI The output cannot look like low-effort AI content. Characters, environments, clothing, product details, lighting and visual style should remain consistent. Motion must feel intentional, and obvious generation errors must be corrected before delivery. 6. Producing UGC, expert, cartoon and other ad formats We test many formats. You should not be limited to one editing style. You may be asked to produce: Native UGC and testimonial-style ads Doctor or expert advertorial videos Founder or spokesperson videos Podcast-style ads Interview and street-interview concepts Long-form personal discovery stories Problem–mechanism–solution VSLs Listicle and advertorial creatives AI cartoon stories Animated explainers Product demonstration ads Before-and-after narratives Short hook-first ads Static-to-video and image-led ads Competitor recreations and new variations of existing winners You should understand how the format changes the viewer's expectations. A native UGC ad should not feel like a polished television commercial, and an expert video should not feel like an obviously fake authority endorsement. 7. Creating captions, graphics, audio and final deliverables You own the complete post-production process. This includes: Accurate subtitles with intentional emphasis Clean, readable on-screen text for mobile viewers Kinetic text and callouts where useful Proper audio levels and voice cleanup Music and sound design that support the emotional pacing Colour correction across mixed footage Removing unwanted text or branding when legally and technically appropriate Product replacement, tracking and compositing where required Correct aspect ratios, safe zones, frame rates and export settings Organized project files and clear version naming Multiple hooks, CTAs or format variations without rebuilding the entire ad inefficiently What we need you to understand about direct response You do not need to be the copywriter, but you must understand the strategy behind the script you are editing. You should be able to identify: The target customer and exact problem being called out The mass desire the ad activates The problem mechanism: why previous attempts have failed The solution mechanism: why this approach may work differently The awareness and sophistication level of the market The promise, proof, objections and offer The emotional turning point in the story Which moments require visual proof rather than generic b-roll Where retention is likely to drop Why one hook attracts buyers while another only produces cheap clicks We want an editor who can challenge a weak visual idea, flag a credibility problem and suggest a stronger way to communicate the same sales point.
