Short-Form Editor / Graphic Designer **Rockstars Only**
Confidential employer
Are you an A player? We want you on our team!
Here's the wrong version of this role: someone who logs on, asks what they should work on, sends three "just checking if this looks right?" messages, and waits. We already know what needs to be made. We wrote it down. If the brief and the brand bible are sitting in your queue and you still need a call to start, this isn't a fit.
Here's the right version: you pull a task, read the brief once, look at the last three approved assets for that client, and build something that looks like it belongs next to them. You submit it. It's right the first time more often than it isn't. When something is genuinely ambiguous, you ask specific questions in one message and keep working on something else while you wait.
What you'll make
Short-form video (Reels, TikToks, paid ad cuts) and the static side of it: carousels, feed graphics, flyers, ad creative. Real small businesses with real ad spend behind some of it. Multiple clients, multiple brand voices, switched between in the same afternoon.
Tools you should already be fluent in
CapCut and DaVinci Resolve or equivalent for video. Photoshop and the Adobe suite or equivalent for design. Canva for anything going into a client's hands. We won't train you on these. We will absolutely train you on our clients.
How this works
You're online during a set daily window so revisions and the occasional rush don't sit overnight. Inside that window, nobody hovers. There's no no hour-by-hour reporting. What we measure is whether assets land on time, in the naming convention, at the right quality, and how fast you respond when a revision comes in.
The rules that aren't negotiable: brand bible before you start, naming convention on every file, new version every time (never overwrite), and when you're blocked you say so immediately instead of quietly stalling. Two people review your work and both will tell you plainly when something misses.
Who we're looking for
We're a growing agency, and we're building the team that takes us to the next stage. Your work is seen by the people who d ---------- things, on the day you do it.
We're hiring for a seat, not a project. We'd rather train one person properly over several years than churn through six editors in one. So we care less about whether you know every shortcut in Resolve today and more about whether you'll know them in six months because you went and learned them on your own. As we grow, the people who grew with us get first claim on what comes next.
What we're actually looking for in a person:
You tell the truth about your work. If you missed a deadline, you say so before we find out. If you didn't understand the brief, you say that too, instead of guessing and hoping. We've never once been upset with someone for saying "I don't know how to do this yet." We have been upset with silence.
You communicate without being chased. A short message that says what's done, what's stuck, and what you need is worth more to us than an hour of perfect work we didn't know was happening. Going quiet is the single fastest way to lose this job.
You get better on purpose. You watch how other editors cut, you notice when a style is shifting, you bring an idea occasionally instead of only executing. Nobody here will build you a curriculum. The people who do well are the ones who improve because they wanted to.
You move without being pushed. When the queue is empty you say so instead of waiting to be found. When something is obviously broken you flag it. When you finish early you ask what's next. That instinct is most of what we mean by independent, and you either have it or you don't.
You take criticism as information. Your work gets reviewed, and you'll be told plainly when something misses. It's not personal and it isn't a comment on you. Editors who take feedback as an insult burn out fast. Editors who take it as data get very good, very quickly.
What we'll give back:
Honest feedback, consistent and on-time pay, clear briefs, and real autonomy inside your shift. We won't message you after hours. We won't ask you to pretend to be busy. And if you're good, we'll keep you for years and grow the role around you. We care about all members of our team and want to see you grow and succeed in life.
