Senior Data Analyst + Automation Specialist + Accountant

Confidential employer

I’m looking for an exceptional Senior Data Analyst & Automation Specialist with strong mathematical reasoning, quick and accurate mental arithmetic, practical accounting knowledge, and advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills. You should have substantial experience designing, debugging and maintaining data systems and automations using tools such as Python/pandas, SQL, VBA, Power Query or Google Apps Script. You’ll build dynamic models covering inventory, costs, payments, currencies, partner balances and profitability. Strong commercial judgment is essential: recognizing when prices, costs, margins or balances seem wrong, investigating why and proactively raising concerns. You must independently reconcile records, verify calculations and software outputs, identify missing information, and build checks that keep results correct as transactions and business rules change. I need someone who takes ownership of accuracy, explains their reasoning clearly and can work through numbers with me live. You must be readily available for phone calls across flexible, extended hours, including outside normal office hours, and respond promptly.

PERSONAL ASSISTANT + CUSTOMER SUPPORT — FLEXIBLE HOURS, 7 DAYS, DAYTIME, LONG-TERM SEAT

Confidential employer

PERSONAL ASSISTANT + CUSTOMER SUPPORT — FLEXIBLE HOURS, 7 DAYS, DAYTIME, LONG-TERM SEAT Read this entire post before applying. If you skim it, you will fail in the first five seconds and we will both have wasted our time. That is not a threat — it's a favor. This job is not for most people, and I'd rather you find that out now. WHAT THIS JOB ACTUALLY IS I run several e-commerce brands. I need one person beside me who handles the things I should not be handling myself. Two halves: Half one — customer support. You own the inbox. Order questions, delivery questions, refunds, returns, angry people, confused people, people who ordered the wrong size. You answer them in clear English, politely, fast, and you follow the written procedures we hand you. When you hit something the procedures don't cover, you ask me instead of guessing. Half two — everything else. This is the honest part. I do not have a clean list of tasks for you. Some of what you'll do: Chasing suppliers and shipping companies for answers. Finding information I need and putting it somewhere I can read it in one minute. Data entry. Spreadsheets. Renaming files. Moving things from one place to another. Signing up for things, filling in forms, dealing with a support chat for three hours so I don't have to. Checking whether something on a website is broken and telling me exactly what you saw. Reminding me of things I said I'd do and did not do. Small research jobs: prices, competitors, which tool does X, what's this company's phone number. Some days this work is interesting. Most days it is not. It is the boring, unglamorous, absolutely necessary work that keeps a business from falling over. If that sounds beneath you, stop reading — no hard feelings. WHAT WE ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT, IN THIS EXACT ORDER You answer. When I message you during your hours, you reply. Not in four hours. Not tomorrow. You finish what you start. A task you took is a task that comes back done, or comes back with a question. Never silence. You stay. I am hiring a person for years, not renting one for two months. You can be trusted with real things. Accounts, customers, money-adjacent decisions. I need to stop double-checking you by month two. Your skills. Yes, fifth. Notice where skill sits on that list. That is deliberate. I can teach you our systems, our tone, our procedures, our tools — and the person who reads carefully enough to type "lussekatt" as the first word in the title when applying is already showing me the exact trait I'm hiring for. It is not part of the title structure below; it goes before it. What I cannot teach is judgment, honesty, and being the kind of person who says "I made a mistake" the same day it happened instead of hoping nobody notices. I would rather hire a good person with average skills than a skilled person I have to manage. This is my personal assistant seat. Character is the job requirement. Everything else is training. HOURS — READ THIS TWICE, IT'S THE UNUSUAL PART There is no fixed schedule. There is no minimum and no maximum. Some days I need 2 hours from you. Some days I need 10. Most days land somewhere in between. I do not know in advance which day will be which — that's the nature of the work. What I need in return for that flexibility is this: you book your working day to me. Seven days a week, you are reachable and ready inside a window we agree on — roughly 09:00–18:00 Philippine time. If I only have 3 hours of work that day, you work 3 hours and the rest of your day is yours. If a launch blows up and I need 10, you're there. Yes, seven. Including Sunday. I'm saying it plainly because it's the thing most people will walk away over, and I'd rather they walk away now than in month two. Customers email on Sundays and orders go wrong on Sundays. Sunday is usually the lightest day of the week — often an hour or two of inbox and nothing else — but it is not a day where I can't reach you. That means: this is not a job you stack on top of two other clients. The availability IS the product. You cannot be available for me and also promised to somebody else in the same window. No graveyard shift. No 2am calls. I start my own day very early, so I'm online through most of your working day. You keep your regular Philippine holidays. Tell me in advance, that's all. Need a day off for a wedding, a funeral, a doctor, a family thing? Tell me a few days ahead and it's a yes. I'm asking you to be dependable, not to be a machine. What I can't work with is finding out you're gone on the morning it happens. Over a normal month this lands around full-time hours. Some months more, some less. Which is exactly why I pay the way I pay: PAY — READ THIS PART SLOWLY Hourly, with a guaranteed floor. I'm not going to ask you to hold your whole day open and then pay you nothing when I happen to be quiet. $3.50 USD per hour, for every hour you work. Guaranteed floor of $350 USD per month. That's 100 hours paid whether or not I send you 100 hours of work. If I go quiet, that's my problem, not your rent. Paid twice a month, on time, every time. We have never missed a payment and we never will. In a normal month you'll work 150–200 hours, which is $525–$700. A heavy launch month is more. There is no cap. On top of that: $40 USD responsiveness bonus, every month where you answered inside your hours every single working day. This is the easiest money in the job and it is entirely in your control. $40 USD ownership bonus, in any month where you spotted and fixed something I never asked you to look at. I d ---------- this one, and I'd rather pay it than not. Your first raise comes after ONE month. Not six. Not "we'll see." One month. The raise ladder, in writing: When Hourly rate A ~170-hour month, with bonuses Start $3.50 ~$595–675 After 1 month $3.75 ~$640–720 After 3 months $4.00 ~$680–760 After 6 months $4.35 ~$740–820 Every step is automatic as long as you're still doing the job. It goes into your agreement on day one. You will never have to ask me for a raise, and I will never "forget." I put the first raise at one month on purpose. Most employers dangle a raise at six months and half of them never pay it. I'd rather prove to you inside four weeks that when you deliver, the number actually moves — and then keep proving it. How hours are tracked: you log them honestly, in a simple shared sheet, on the day you work them. I am not going to install spyware on your computer and I am not going to count your mouse clicks. In exchange, I need the number in that sheet to be true. If that trust ever breaks, the job ends the same day. That is the only hard rule in this entire post. WHO SHOULD NOT APPLY Please save us both the time. Do not apply if: You cannot be reachable seven days a week, Sunday included. You have other clients in the same hours and this would be "one of them." You need a predictable 9-to-5 with a fixed task list to feel secure. You go quiet when you're stuck, embarrassed, or behind. Boring repetitive work makes you resentful. Your English is not comfortable enough to write to an upset customer without me rewriting it. Your internet is unreliable and you have no backup connection. You have no plan for brownouts or power cuts. You want to negotiate the rate upward before you've worked a single month. You are looking for a placeholder while you search for something better. You want to grow into a marketing or creative role. That's not this seat. I'm not being harsh for fun. I've hired before and lost good people because they wanted a different job than the one I actually had. This time I'm describing it exactly. HOW TO APPLY — THIS IS THE FIRST TEST Ninety percent of applicants will get this wrong. That's the point. 1. Subject line, formatted EXACTLY like this: [codeword] | [hours you could work on a heavy day] | [how soon you can start] | [your written English, 1-10] | [your spoken English, 1-10] | [your download speed from speedtest.net] Example: XXXXXX | 10 | 3 days | 8 | 7 | 45mbps The codeword is written somewhere in this post. I'm not telling you where. If you actually read the whole thing, you already have it. Wrong format, missing codeword, missing a field — deleted unread. No exceptions, no second chances. 2. Your message must contain these six things, in this order, and nothing else: Line 1 — The most boring, annoying or tedious task you have ever done for an employer or client. What was it, how long did it go on, and how did you feel about it. Be honest. "I love all tasks equally" is a failed answer. Your setup — Computer and specs. Internet provider and speed. Backup internet. What you do when the power goes out. Be specific and boring. "I have good internet" is a failed answer. Longevity — The longest you have ever stayed in one role or with one client. How long, and why it ended. A short history with an honest reason beats an inflated one. The customer test — A customer writes: "This is the THIRD time I'm email ing you. My order was supposed to arrive 9 days ago, there's no tracking update, and nobody answers. I want my money back NOW." Write your actual reply. 40–60 words. Don't explain what you'd do — write the email . Two honest answers — (a) Tell me about a time you were stuck on a task and didn't know what to do. What did you do in the first 30 minutes? (b) What would make you quit this job? Everyone has a breaking point. I trust the person who names it far more than the person who says "nothing." Last line — A link to a voice recording of yourself, 60 seconds, unscripted, answering one question: what did you do yesterday, from when you woke up until you went to bed. Loom, Google Drive, WhatsApp voice note, anything I can open. No script, no retakes — I am listening to how you talk, not what you did. Do not attach a generic CV. It will not be read. THE THREE STAGES Stage 1 — The application above. Takes 20 minutes if you're serious. Most people won't do it. Stage 2 — The real-day test. Unpaid, about 2 hou

Business Operations Coordinator

Confidential employer

Business Operations Coordinator We are a US-based e-commerce furniture and home décor business that is seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Business Operations Coordinator to support our day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on, varied role that touches logistics, inventory and product management, customer service, and marketing support. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, comfortable working with data and technology, and able to manage multiple priorities independently. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys problem-solving, keeping things organized, and seeing tasks through from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Logistics & Order Management Work with vendors to track orders and production timelines. Obtain shipping and freight quotes and help select the appropriate carrier. Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers and delivery partners. Track shipments through delivery and troubleshoot delays or issues. Keep customers informed about production timelines, shipping status, and delivery. Inventory & Product Management Add new products to the e-commerce website, including product information, pricing, images, and options. Complete weekly inventory updates and data uploads. Update product pricing as needed. Remove or disable discontinued products. Review product and inventory data for accuracy and identify discrepancies. Customer Service Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email regarding product availability, order status, shipping, and general product questions. Coordinate non-furniture returns with customers and vendors. Follow up with customers who have requested product samples. Respond to trade and designer inquiries and provide appropriate follow-up. Provide friendly, professional, and timely communication throughout the customer experience. Marketing Support Create, schedule, and publish social media posts for Facebook , Instagram, and Pinterest. Assist with basic marketing content, promotions, and other marketing initiatives as needed. Required Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and working with spreadsheets and CSV files. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong general computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems quickly. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and customer conversations simultaneously. Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and following through on tasks. Willingness to track and log daily hours worked accurately using time-tracking tools (e.g., Time Doctor, Hubstaff) as well as a shared Google Sheet, as required by the employer. High level of integrity and accountability — this role is remote and largely unsupervised, so honest time reporting and reliable, focused work during logged hours is essential. Preferred Skills Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT to improve productivity, communication, research, and day-to-day workflows. Experience with an e-commerce platform such as BigCommerce, Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar. Experience using Canva to create or edit basic marketing and social media content. Comfortable following up with customers by phone, not just email , when needed. Previous experience in e-commerce, retail, furniture/home décor, logistics, or customer service is a plus. Compensation This role pays $5–$8/hour USD, depending on experience and qualifications. Hours Preferred business hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST), with availability during these hours to communicate with customers, vendors, and other business partners. What We're Looking For More than anything, we're looking for someone who is reliable, resourceful, organized, and willing to learn. You should be comfortable moving between different types of work—from following up with a vendor about an order, to updating a spreadsheet, to answering a customer's question, to preparing a social media post. We are looking for someone who works diligently and honestly during their logged hours, and who takes care to get details right the first time. Accuracy and attention to detail matter as much as speed — mistakes in inventory, pricing, or customer communication have real business impact. This is a broad role with the opportunity to learn many aspects of running and growing an e-commerce business. How to Apply We are a US-based e-commerce business, and we're looking for someone who reads carefully and follows instructions precisely — this is a strong predictor of success in this role. To apply, email with the subject line: "Detail-Oriented and Ready — [Candidate Name]" Applications without this exact subject line will not be reviewed. In the body of your email , please answer the following questions in order, numbered 1–10: What is your current or most recent role, and how long were you in it? Describe your experience with Excel or Google Sheets — specifically, have you used filtering, sorting, VLOOKUP/basic formulas, or worked with CSV files? Give a concrete example. Have you worked with an e-commerce platform (Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, etc.)? If yes, which one and what did you do on it (product uploads, inventory, pricing, etc.)? Describe a time you had to track down information from a vendor or third party (a shipment, an order, a quote) and follow it through to resolution. What happened? Describe a time you handled a customer complaint or a difficult customer interaction by phone or email . What did you say and how did it resolve? Have you created or scheduled social media content (Facebook , Instagram, Pinterest)? If yes, what tools did you use (Canva, native scheduling, etc.)? Do you have experience using AI tools like ChatGPT in your daily work? Give one specific example of how you've used it. Confirm your availability to work 9:00 AM–4:00 PM Central Time (CST), Monday–Friday, communicating with a US-based team. Given the posted range of $5–$8/hour, what hourly rate are you seeking, and why do you feel that reflects your experience? This role involves working independently with logged hours and no direct supervision most of the day. What personally motivates you to stay focused and do accurate, honest work when no one is watching? Finally, somewhere naturally within your application, include the phrase "organized and proactive" — this confirms you read the full posting. Applications that do not follow these instructions, or that appear to be copy-pasted templates, will not be considered. Following instructions precisely is a core part of this role — it's how you'll track vendor timelines, update inventory, and communicate with customers day to day.

Content Creator - marleys | Ecommerce Shoe Brand

Confidential employer

Content Creator — marleys Part-time · Remote · Payment per reel/carousel produced (please see pricing below) · 6 reels and 2 carousels to start; if everything goes well, we can agree on a certain # of content per month. Monthly base — research, idea bank, meeting, shot list $40 Original reel (new concept, new edit) $10 Variant / cutdown (same footage, new hook and caption) $5 Carousel $6 Static / text post $3 About marleys We make comfortable leather dance shoes in northern Portugal for social dancers — swing, salsa, bachata, and other dance styles. We've grown through in-person sales at dance events across Eastern Canada and we're building out our digital channels now. You don't need to be a dancer. You do need to work inside a brand voice that's already defined rather than defaulting to your own. This role has two parts: strategy and execution. You're not just a pair of hands — you're expected to bring ideas, and the ideas are expected to be grounded in what's actually working out there. Part one — Strategy Monthly research Review what competitors and high-performing accounts in adjacent spaces are doing. Not a trend summary — specifics I could act on. 10-15 high quality entries on: Hooks that are working, transcribed as written Formats and ideas worth adapting Themes that are gaining traction, and ones that have gone stale Build the idea bank Turn that research into a running database we can pull from — hooks, concepts, formats, references, each tagged so it's findable when we need an idea for a given pillar or product moment. It lives in our Notion so everyone works from the same source. This compounds. By month four it should be the first place anyone looks when the calendar needs filling. Monthly marketing meeting Collaborate with me (the founder) & the marketing coordinator to understand our content calendar for the upcoming month Ask questions, flag blockers to completing tasks Walk away with a content calendar that includes the idea, the visual reference, the text, captions, assets You'll see how your work performed. That feedback comes back to you in this meeting, because making content without knowing what landed is guesswork. Part two — Execution You're handed the social content calendar with the intent behind each slot — what idea we're going after, what it needs to do. From there you make it: Write the hooks Write and set on-screen captions Edit video into finished reels Design carousels and static assets in Canva to our templates Write post captions in our voice Deliver sized per platform, ready to schedule I film. You tell me what to shoot: each clip, the hook line, rough length, setting. I should be able to film a batch in one sitting without thinking about it. You don't schedule or publish. You hand finished assets to the coordinator, who schedules them and tracks performance. How the handoff works 1. Monthly meeting — you propose, coordinator plans 2. Coordinator hands you the calendar with the intent per slot 3. You look through our existing footage and see if there's already something there or if I need to film new content 4. If I film new content, you tell me what I need to film 5. You deliver finished assets for approval; revise as needed 6. The marketing coordinator schedules and reports back — into next month's meeting What you get An editorial brief. Our voice, our formatting rules, what we do and don't do, with examples of each A monthly working session with me (the founder) and the coordinator, plus performance data on everything you've made Visual direction. Reference and inspiration for how we're building the brand and visual identity, so the look is a shared decision rather than something you infer Canva templates and access to our Notion, where the calendar, brief, and idea bank live What we're looking for Short-form video editing that feels native to the platform, not templated. CapCut or Premiere Canva fluency working inside existing brand templates Strong written English with a real ear for voice. You can hear the difference between a human hook and a generated one Comfortable working in Notion — the calendar, briefs, and idea bank live there and I need it kept current Genuinely curious about what makes content work. The research half of this job isn't a chore you get through to reach the fun part Reliable turnaround. Batches have dates Overlap with Eastern Time On AI: use it. We do. But carousels that look generated, video with that AI-made look, and copy that reads like an unedited first draft are not what we're after. You're the judgment on top of the tool, not a pass-through for it. On learning: if parts of this are new to you, say so. I'd rather work with someone sharp and curious than someone who overclaims. How this starts One paid trial batch of 6 reels and 2 carousels. We'll sit down and discuss a content calendar I've built, our existing content bank, and our visual direction & brand kit. You tell me what to film where needed. In a week's time, you deliver 6 reels, 2 carousel, and copy for all of it, plus five hooks you'd want to test and where they came from. Based on performance, we go monthly. To apply Please note: Generic AI responses will be automatically rejected. Two short-form videos you edited. What were you going for, and did it work? Your portfolio One carousel you designed for a brand. Pick any post on ---------- Instagram and write a better hook for it. One line. Name one account you'd watch for ideas in our space, and one hook of theirs you'd steal.
