ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced Video & Image Creative Editor to join our Shopify dropshipping team on a long-term hourly basis. The role focuses on creating short-form video ads and static image creatives for Meta advertising. Most videos are approximately 30 to 60 seconds long and are created for Facebook and Instagram campaigns. You will work with product footage and existing creative material, editing it into clear, persuasive, ready-to-launch advertisements. This includes improving the hook, structure, pacing, text, branding, offer presentation, and overall clarity of the creative. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Edit short-form video ads for Meta campaigns Create static image ads for Facebook and Instagram Select and combine the strongest product footage Improve hooks, pacing, structure, and clip selection Add subtitles, headlines, product benefits, offers, and calls to action Create multiple variations from the same product or concept Apply the correct branding, pricing, discounts, language, and offer details Prepare final creatives so they are ready to launch Make revisions when required Keep files clearly named and organized WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Experience with Shopify dropshipping is strongly preferred. You should understand how dropshipping products are advertised through Meta, how direct-response creatives are structured, and why multiple versions of the same ad are often needed for testing. WORKFLOW AND DEADLINES You will work from a shared Google Sheet where new video and image assignments are added. For example, a batch of video ads and static image ads may be added to the sheet on Tuesday. These creatives are then expected to be completed on Wednesday so they can be reviewed and scheduled for advertising on Thursday. The number of assignments may vary from day to day. Some days may contain more videos, while other days may include more static images or fewer total creatives. Relevant experience includes: Shopify dropshipping E-commerce product ads Meta advertising Short-form video ads Static image ads Direct-response creatives Product testing creatives Editing product footage for paid advertising This is a performance-focused editing role. The creatives should not only look good. They must communicate the product clearly, highlight the main benefit, present the offer correctly, and be suitable for paid advertising. You should be able to follow instructions carefully, check your own work before delivery, and avoid repeated mistakes. Efficiency is equally important. The workload and complexity will vary, so we do not use a fixed daily output target. However, straightforward edits should be completed at a reasonable pace. We need someone who can work consistently, create variations efficiently, and avoid unnecessary delays or overcomplication. TOOLS You may use the editing software you prefer, including: Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects CapCut VEED VMake Canva Photoshop Similar professional editing tools The software is less important than the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of the final work. About Fur Theory Fur Theory is a premium, Australian-made luxury canine care brand. We operate a high-margin business focused primarily on Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) sales via Shopify, supported by a select wholesale network of boutique stockists and grooming salons. We are launching lean and need our ad dollars to drive immediate DTC sales volume. What This Role IS NOT This is not a role for an admin assistant who just clicks "Boost Post" or sets up a broad campaign and forgets it. We need a proactive performance marketer who understands e-commerce funnel dynamics, tests creative aggressively, tracks true customer acquisition costs, and knows how to turn ad dollars into DTC revenue. What We Need You To Do :: Primary — Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Growth: Build, test, and scale Meta conversion campaigns aimed at pet parents to drive high-AOV (Average Order Value) sales on Shopify. :: Secondary — B2B Retailer Acquisition: Run targeted, low-spend lead generation campaigns aimed at boutique owners and grooming salons to apply for wholesale packs. :: Creative Strategy & Directing: Analyze video performance down to the second. Tell us why an ad isn't converting (weak hook, low click-through rate, high drop-off) and give us clear briefs for new ad concepts to test. :: Technical Setup: Ensure rock-solid tracking with Meta Pixel, Conversions API (CAPI), and Shopify server-side tracking post-iOS14. :: Performance Reporting: Deliver zero-fluff reporting focused on key e-commerce metrics: ROAS, Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), Cost Per Lead (CPL), and Average Order Value (AOV). Proof of Results Required to Apply Applications without the following will be automatically rejected: 1. 2–3 Real DTC E-Commerce Case Studies: Specific data showing monthly ad spend managed, CPA/ROAS achieved, and product category (client names can be redacted for NDA). 2. Ads Manager Screenshots: Actual Ads Manager dashboard proof supporting your case studies. 3. Your Creative Testing Framework (3–5 sentences): Explain how you test new ad angles/hooks, how long you run tests before turning off bad ads, and how you scale winners. How to Apply Reply with your DTC case studies, Ads Manager screenshots, hourly rate/retainer, and your testing process.
