Hiring: YouTube Video Editor (Long-Form + Short-Form)

We're looking for a talented, creative, and reliable video editor to join our growing travel and lifestyle YouTube channel.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging long-form YouTube videos (typically 20–40 minutes).
• Create attention-grabbing short-form clips for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook .
• Develop compelling storytelling, pacing, and transitions to maintain viewer retention.
• Incorporate music, sound effects, motion graphics, subtitles, and B-roll where appropriate.
• Identify viral-worthy moments within long-form videos and turn them into standalone clips.
• Handle basic colour grading, audio enhancement, and visual effects.
• Collaborate on creative ideas to continually improve video performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing long-form YouTube videos.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, hooks, pacing, and audience retention.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Experience producing engaging vertical short-form content.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Experience with travel vlogs or documentary-style content is highly desirable.
