Fintech and Crypto Reconciliation Accountant

We're looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you'll own the reconciliation process across a diverse range of payment channels — including bank accounts, Fintech platforms, e-wallets, and crypto wallets — ensuring accuracy and integrity across all financial records.

What You'll Do

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, Fintech platforms, e-wallets, and crypto wallets
• Record and reconcile high-volume transactions across multiple systems
• Monitor incoming and outgoing payments, identifying inconsistencies and unreconciled items
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to settlements, chargebacks, refunds, fees, and failed transactions
• Maintain accurate accounting records for Fintech and crypto-related operations
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation for month-end and year-end close
• Support internal and external audits by preparing reconciliations, reports, and evidence packages
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial reporting and reconciliation processes
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

What We're Looking For

• Solid experience in accounting or finance, ideally with exposure to Fintech, payments, or crypto environments
• Strong understanding of reconciliation processes and month-end close procedures
• Comfortable working with high transaction volumes across multiple platforms and systems
• Analytical mindset with sharp attention to detail
• Proactive communicator who works well cross-functionally
• Familiarity with accounting software and a willingness to work with new financial tools and platforms

Working Hours
This role operates on GMT (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM), supporting a globally connected finance team.
