TruWell Physical Therapy is hiring a Virtual Patient Care Coordinator!

Support our Brighton and Commerce Township, Michigan offices from home. This is a fantastic virtual assistant opportunity with a fun, supportive team where you will connect with patients, learn new skills, and help people get the care they need.

Bring an amazing personality, and we will help you build the skills!

Prompt Healthcare EMR experience is preferred, but not required. Healthcare experience is a plus. We are willing to train someone with a warm personality, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.

Don't be nervous to apply. Our first virtual assistant was nervous about learning the skills, too, but she learned quickly! You do not have to know everything on day one.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Welcome and assist patients by phone, text, email , and video.

Schedule appointments, help fill openings, and follow up with patients.

Help with intake forms, patient records, and missing paperwork.

Verify insurance benefits and help track authorizations and referrals.

Coordinate with our therapists, office staff, and physician offices to keep patient care moving smoothly.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A friendly, caring personality and excellent spoken and written English.

Dependability, organization, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.

Comfort talking with people by phone and video, asking questions, and learning new systems.

A reliable computer, stable internet, headset, and quiet, private workspace.

Availability during agreed U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Commitment to HIPAA and our patient privacy procedures.
