About Cambium

Cambium is looking for a creative, reliable, and detail-oriented Social Media Video Editor & Content Designer to support our monthly social media content.

Cambium is a digital platform focused on coaching, mentoring, personal transformation, and emotional well-being.

We will provide the raw video footage, content topics, messaging, brand colors, logo, and general creative direction. Your responsibility will be to transform this material into polished, professional social media content that is fully edited and ready to upload.

Monthly Scope

The expected monthly workload is:

• Up to 15 short-form videos / Reels per month
• Up to 4 social media carousels per month
• Most videos will be approximately 30–60 seconds
• Content will primarily be created for Instagram and Facebook

Static posts will generally be created internally and are not part of the regular monthly workload.

Video Editing Responsibilities

For each Reel, you will be responsible for:

• Editing and trimming raw footage
• Improving pacing and flow
• Cleaning and balancing audio
• Adding professional subtitles/captions
• Adding background music when appropriate
• Adding simple transitions and visual effects
• Improving or adjusting the background when needed
• Basic color and lighting correction
• Adding Cambium branding, logo, and visual elements
• Formatting videos correctly for Instagram and Facebook
• Ensuring videos remain professional, clean, warm, and emotionally engaging
• Delivering the final video ready to upload without additional editing

Carousel Responsibilities

You will create up to 4 carousels per month based on content and copy provided by Cambium.

You will receive:

• Copy/text
• Brand colors
• Logo
• Visual guidelines
• Examples/templates

Your responsibility will be to create clean, professional, visually consistent carousel designs that are ready to upload to Instagram and Facebook .

Most carousels will contain approximately 5–7 slides.

What We Provide

Cambium will provide:

• Raw video footage
• Content topics/questions
• Written messaging or content direction
• Logo and brand colors
• Brand/style references
• Examples of existing carousel designs
• Desired video length
• Feedback and approval

You are not responsible for developing the overall marketing strategy or writing scripts from scratch.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience editing Reels, TikToks, or other short-form social media videos
• Understands how to edit talking-head videos professionally
• Has a good eye for clean and elegant visual design
• Can create professional captions/subtitles
• Can improve basic sound and video quality
• Understands pacing for social media videos
• Has experience creating Instagram/Facebook carousels
• Can follow an established brand identity consistently
• Is reliable and able to meet deadlines
• Communicates clearly
• Is comfortable receiving feedback and making reasonable revisions
• Is fluent in Spanish (preferred)

Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Canva, or similar tools is acceptable.

Work Arrangement

Remote – Freelance / Part-Time

This is intended to become an ongoing monthly collaboration for the right person.

There are no fixed daily working hours. Work can generally be completed on your own schedule as long as agreed deadlines are met.

Monthly Budget

$125 USD per month

This includes:

• Up to 15 edited Reels
• Up to 4 carousels
• One reasonable revision round per piece
• Final files delivered fully edited and ready for social media upload

Additional work outside of the agreed monthly scope can be discussed and compensated separately.

As part of your application, you must submit a short Loom video (approximately 2 minutes) introducing yourself and showing us your editing skills.

Your Loom video must include

1. A short introduction: Tell us who you are and briefly describe your experience.
2. A screen-sharing demonstration: Walk us through one Reel you have edited. Explain what you did to the original footage, including cuts, captions, audio, color correction, and any other editing improvements.
3. Why Cambium: Tell us why you think you would be a good fit for this position.

Important Loom Requirements

• Your camera must be ON for the entire video.
• We need to see your face and hear you speaking.
• Videos with no camera, only a screen recording, or AI/text-to-speech voices will NOT be reviewed.
• If you speak Spanish, please record part of your Loom video in Spanish.
• Your Loom video must be approximately 2 minutes long.
• Make sure your video is set so anyone with the link can view it.

• Sending your Loom video separately does not replace the requirement to submit it through the Google Form.
• Loom videos that do not meet the camera and presentation requirements described above will NOT be reviewed.
