About Online Kids Academy

Online Kids Academy is an international online education platform offering live, one-on-one language lessons for children aged 4–15.

We are currently expanding our German teaching team and looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and responsible German-speaking educators based in the Philippines who enjoy working with children.

What We Offer

Your main responsibility is simple: Focus on teaching, engage your students, and make learning German an enjoyable experience!

Who We're Looking For

Advanced German language proficiency (C1 or higher preferred)

Clear pronunciation and strong German communication skills

Ability to conduct lessons primarily in German

A positive, energetic, patient, and child-friendly personality

Willingness to use games, toys, visual aids, and interactive teaching techniques

Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism

Comfortable using online teaching platforms

A reliable computer, webcam, headset, and stable internet connection

A degree in German Language, Education, Translation, or a related field is an advantage.

Previous teaching experience is preferred, but we also welcome talented graduates and aspiring educators who demonstrate excellent German language skills and a passion for teaching children.

Schedule and Availability

This is a flexible, part-time freelance opportunity.

Teachers are expected to open at least 20 available 30-minute lesson slots per week.

You can choose how to distribute your available slots.

There are no fixed shifts, and you can work around your existing commitments.

Our busiest teaching periods are during the evening in Türkiye and on weekends, which may correspond to late evening or overnight hours in the Philippines.

Lesson bookings depend on student demand. Teachers are paid for completed lessons, and a minimum number of bookings is not guaranteed.

Contract and Payments

Independent contractor (freelance) agreement with our US-based company

Payment per completed lesson

Monthly payouts through the teacher dashboard to a local bank account

Payments available between the 10th and 18th of each month

No exclusivity requirement — you may continue working or studying elsewhere

This is a freelance position, not a salaried employment role.
