About the Role

Hi, I'm Josh. I'm hiring a page designer, long term, to design and build sales pages and opt-ins for online coaches. Right now that's mostly fitness coaches and physios, but it could be any niche.

THE JOB
Build pages that convert. Know who the reader is and where she is in the funnel. Then lay out the copywriter's words so she actually reads it and feels it's for her: her pain and her dream result hit her first, the proof is where she needs it, the doubts get answered, and the button is easy to find. So she clicks, signs up or buys.

WHAT YOU GET FROM ME

  • Copywriters we pair you with. We supply them, and you'll work with 2 or 3 of them at once, together on every page (how, below). The research and voice guide go to them, so you only get what you need for the look
  • Our design guide, plus the coach's photos, testimonials and their own preferences for how their brand looks
  • No mockup. You d ---------- the format of every section: a photo with a few lines, a short list, day cards, a video, a row of real comment screenshots
  • You never talk to the coach. I handle every call and chat, so you just design

HOW WE MAKE A PAGE TOGETHER
1. The copywriter does the thinking first. They walk the whole funnel and the objections, then hand you every section as a header plus bullets: the objection it handles, the hidden things behind it, the point of the section, and how it leads into the next one
2. Then formats and words happen together. You suggest a format for each section (a roadmap that spans the page, cards, a background or black-and-white photo that fits the coach's style, a row of real comments), they put the words in, back and forth. The format doesn't have to be right the first time. If the copywriter wants a different one or small changes, you make them
3. No image left, text right, image left, text right down the page. It's the most generic layout there is. Never
4. You both say it's good before I see it

THE KIND OF THINKING I'M LOOKING FOR
Before you open a design tool, ask: who is reading this, on what phone, and what has she already seen? What should she feel in the first screen? Where would she get bored and scroll away? Then design for that one person. Short, human pages with big clear text, real photos, room to breathe. Not a template, not corporate, no popups.

HOW WORKING WITH ME GOES

  • I send you a task in parts. You tell me how long each part takes you, and that's what I pay you for
  • Take as long as you need before the deadline. Finish early and you get more work, and more money
  • If I really like what you've laid out for me, I'll give you a generous bonus
  • Use any AI you like (we build with Claude). What I need from you is the eye: spacing, sizes, what looks off and how to fix it
  • You build it in whatever the coach uses (GoHighLevel, Systeme or plain HTML)
  • You, the copywriter and me in one WhatsApp group, so you're never left guessing

PAY
$2,000 to $3,500 a month once work is steady, and it can go higher: bonuses for work I love, and the more pages you take on, the more you earn. We start per task while we get to know each other. Paid twice a month, on the 15th and the last day.

YOU'LL LIKE THIS IF

  • You've designed and built landing or sales pages yourself, and they're live
  • You check everything on a phone before you call it done
  • You want one steady main client instead of chasing gigs

NOT A FIT IF

  • Your pages look like a template. The visual side has to be on point, nothing generic
  • You're an agency. I want the person who actually designs
  • You want a one-off gig
  • You plan to keep working for other clients long term once you're with us. Other clients while we get to know each other is fine, but this is meant to become your main work

HOW YOU GET HIRED (EVERY TEST IS PAID)
1. Apply below, about 10 minutes
2. If your work looks good: I want to know how you think, so we have a 15 min call where we go through work you've already done
3. If I really like you, there's one final thing before the trial: I want to see how you'd handle a real page, so we do a short paid test, $75, paid in full when you hand it in. Usually about 2 hours, often less
4. I want to see you and our copywriter make great pages together, so we do two paid weeks on a real client. If it clicks, you're on the team

HOW TO APPLY
Put RIPPLE in your subject line and use 12 Apply Points. Then send:
1. 2 or 3 live links to pages you designed and built yourself, closest to coaches if you have them. Live links only, no Figma, PDFs or screenshots
2. One line: what do I hand you, and what do you d ---------- yourself? (The answer is in this post)
3. How many clients you're working with right now, and when you could start

I read every application myself. If the keyword, the Apply Points or the one line are missing, I won't see it.

Josh
