About the Role

Clinical Content Dentist

Remote | Part-Time (20 hours/week) / Full-Time (40 hours/week) | Flexible | MUST BE A DENTIST

Monthly Compensation

Starting salary will depend on your experience and whether you're joining us part-time or full-time. Following a successful probation period, your salary will increase to your regular rate. We also review compensation annually and reward strong performance through salary progression and discretionary bonuses as the business grows.

We're an independent dental education platform that serves thousands of dentists worldwide through our award-winning podcast, YouTube channel, online courses, webinars, and growing membership community.

We're looking for a curious, proactive, and clinically-minded Clinical Content Dentist to help us create engaging educational content and contribute to a thriving online community of dentists around the world.

This is a varied role that combines clinical knowledge, content creation, research, communication, and community engagement.

You'll use your clinical knowledge to transform research, webinars, podcasts, and real clinical discussions into educational content that helps dentists become better clinicians — while also helping us engage with and support the dentists in our community.

We're not looking for someone who simply waits for instructions. We're looking for someone who can't help but think:

"That discussion would make a brilliant carousel."

"This five-minute section deserves its own YouTube video."

"This paper has one practical takeaway that every GDP should know."

"A lot of people in the community are asking about this — maybe we should turn it into a podcast or article."

Our founder works best with people who bring positive energy, communicate well, enjoy collaborating, take initiative, and genuinely love learning.

Here's what makes you a great fit:

  • Qualified dentist with a strong clinical foundation (around 3+ years of experience preferred, although exceptional newer graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Excellent written English
  • Curious and passionate about continuous learning
  • Able to explain complex clinical concepts in a clear and engaging way
  • Organised and detail-oriented
  • Responsive, reliable, and able to communicate clearly in a remote environment
  • Proactive — you naturally spot opportunities and take action rather than waiting to be told what to do
  • Enjoys interacting with other dentists and contributing thoughtfully to an online community
  • Collaborative and happy to support teammates
  • Comfortable receiving feedback and continuously improving
  • Excited to explore AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to enhance your workflow

Bonus points if you've previously:

  • Created educational social media posts
  • Written dental or healthcare articles
  • Created educational videos or online learning resources
  • Managed or contributed to an online community
  • Used tools such as Canva, ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI/content creation tools

About the Role

As our Clinical Content Dentist, you'll help create, repurpose, and support educational content across our podcast, YouTube channel, membership platform, website, and social media.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Turning podcast episodes into educational content, including podcast articles, clinical takeaways, summaries, and social media content
  • Identifying standout sections from podcast episodes, webinars, and other educational content that could become YouTube videos, reels, carousels, or other formats
  • Writing and contributing to podcast articles and other website content
  • Creating educational carousel content from webinars, podcasts, research papers, and clinical discussions
  • Summarising scientific literature and translating research into practical clinical takeaways
  • Supporting the development and improvement of online courses, masterclasses, and other educational resources
  • Reviewing clinical content for accuracy, clarity, and usefulness
  • Contributing to our online dental community by responding to comments, questions, and member discussions
  • Helping identify interesting questions, discussions, and recurring themes within the community that could inspire future content
  • Engaging with dentists in a helpful, professional, and friendly way across our community platforms
  • Working closely with the Founder and wider team on new educational projects and ideas
  • Proactively spotting opportunities to improve, repurpose, or expand our existing content

The exact mix of responsibilities will evolve as you become more familiar with the business and your strengths become clear.

About the Position

  • Part-Time: up to 20 hours/week or Full-Time: up to 40 hours/week, depending on your availability
  • Remote position — work from anywhere
  • Flexible schedule, provided you're responsive and available when needed
  • Join a small, friendly international team that values curiosity, initiative, and great ideas
  • Work closely with dentists and educators who are passionate about improving clinical education
  • Opportunity to grow your role as the business continues to expand

How to Apply

To apply, please send an email to ---------- with:

  • Your CV
  • A short Loom/video telling us about your background and why this role interests you
  • Examples of any educational content you've created (optional but encouraged)
  • Your preferred arrangement (part-time or full-time)
  • Your internet speed test screenshot (via speedtest.net)

Important: Use the word ONION in your email subject line so we know you've read this far. Applications without this will NOT be considered.

We read every application carefully. If you love learning, enjoy explaining dentistry, like interacting with other dentists, and get excited about turning complex ideas into engaging educational content, we'd love to hear from you.

What Happens Next

We'll carefully review all applications and shortlist those who feel like a strong fit.

From there, our hiring process consists of three stages:

1. First Paid Test – a practical task where you'll transform a piece of clinical content into an educational format, so we can see how you think, communicate, and approach content creation.

2. Second Paid Test – a more in-depth project for shortlisted candidates.

3. Interview – a relaxed conversation with our Founder and/or Business Manager to get to know you, your experience, and how you like to work.

We value your time and effort, so both practical assessments are paid.
