Hello, brilliant soul!

I’m Kama Newbry, RN and Nurse Coach, founder of Synergy Rising and host of the Dancing With Dementia™ & Caregivers Rising™ Podcast. I’m building real resources and a real community for young, young-at-heart, and atypical caregivers... and I’m looking for a SOCIAL MEDIA & VA wizard to rise alongside us as we grow.

The role in one line: reels, social media campaigns, automations, and VA support... the creative-and-community magic that helps our mission reach the caregivers who need it most.

We’d LOVE someone who excels at, AND loves, creating reels and social media campaigns!

A note on the team: this is a TEAM. You’ll work closely with me AND with my executive/personal assistant VA, so collaboration and clear communication are part of the magic.

What you’ll do:

~Create and edit reels and short-form videos that are polished and ON BRAND (TikTok, Instagram, ----------
~Plan and run social media campaigns from start to finish
~Turn video scripts into branded carousels
~Write captions, calls to action, and hashtags
~Set up and manage ManyChat comment-to-DM AUTOMATIONS across all 3 platforms
~Engage with our community through comments and messages, with approval
~Support with general VA tasks as needed
~Live in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar) like it’s home
~Take feedback and run with it... I love collaborators who hear a note, get it, and make it even better

Who you are:

~You LOVE creating reels and social media campaigns, and it shows in your work
~Skilled in video editing for reels and short-form (CapCut, Descript, or similar)
~Experienced with ManyChat automations
~Organized, proactive, and resourceful... you find answers and ask great questions
~Warm, reliable, and genuinely kind (this is a heart-forward brand and team)
~Strong English skills, written AND spoken
~A consistent, reliable internet connection
~Excellent with follow-through and feedback
~Available during MST (US Mountain Time) daytime working hours
~Able to provide references

Bonus glow (nice, not required):

~BONUS: you’ve supported a coach or educator in a membership community and helped support members
~BONUS: experience with FG Funnels (a white-label of GoHighLevel)
~BONUS: caregiving lived experience or a heart for this mission

The logistics:

~Rate: $2 to $3 per hour to start, with ROOM TO GROW as the company grows
~Hours: 20 to 40 hours per week, during MST (US Mountain Time) daytime working hours
~Start: immediately, beginning with a trial project to show us your skills!
~Pay: at the end of each fully-worked month
~Fully remote
