Hiring: YouTube Comedy Video Editor (CapCut) — $350/Month

We're looking for a creative CapCut video editor to join our growing YouTube team for a long-term opportunity!

We create entertaining celebrity and comedy commentary videos, and we're looking for someone who understands humor, funny clips, and good comedic timing.

This is a straightforward editing role. No advanced motion graphics or complex editing required.

What You'll Do
-Edit YouTube comedy videos using CapCut Desktop.
-Find funny movie scenes, memes, reaction clips, and relevant B-roll on YouTube.
-Sync entertaining B-roll with our provided narration.
-Edit original comedy footage using simple zoom-ins, zoom-outs, and clean cuts.
-Add relevant images, PNG cutouts, and simple pop-up graphics.
-Add occasional meme sound effects, whooshes, and risers when appropriate.
-Submit completed projects to our shared CapCut Team Space for quality review.

What Makes This Role Simple
-We provide the narration audio, original comedy footage, context guide, and a clear step-by-step editing SOP.
-No scripting or voiceover recording
-No After Effects or Adobe Premiere
-No advanced motion graphics or complicated animations
-No thumbnails or uploading
-No complicated effects or transitions

Just funny clip selection, simple zooms, clean cuts, graphics, and good comedic pacing.

Requirements
-Experience using CapCut Desktop
-Good sense of humor and comedic timing
-Ability to find funny and relevant movie scenes, memes, and reaction clips
-Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
-Good communication and attention to detail

Experience editing YouTube commentary, comedy, or entertainment videos is a plus.

Salary & Workload
$350 USD/month
-Approximately 4–5 videos per week
-Simple CapCut editing — no advanced motion graphics
-Fully remote
