About the Role

Full-Stack Developer — Build Out a React/Supabase SaaS, Then Stay On (Contract)

We have a construction-management web app that’s fully built and designed as a working front-end, and we’re ready to turn it into a real, live product. Looking for an experienced full-stack developer to build out the backend, take it to production, and then stay on long-term to manage, maintain, and expand it.

What already exists:

A fully built, bilingual (English/Spanish) front-end — a single React component (~5,800 lines) currently running as a demo with all data held in memory.
A complete multi-tenant database schema designed for Supabase/Postgres (~590 lines of SQL) with row-level security — every table carries a company_id so no company can ever see another’s data. A written architecture guide explains the whole design.
Roughly 15 feature areas, each currently backed by its own in-memory store — projects, contacts, budgets, daily logs, schedule, materials/selections, invoices, receipts, contracts, documents, messages, two separate time-tracking systems, and more.

What needs to be done:

Convert the single-file demo into a proper Vite + React project that runs and builds cleanly.
Wire up Supabase: run the schema, implement real authentication, then migrate each of the ~15 in-memory stores to the database one at a time — keeping the app working at every step.
Verify multi-tenant isolation: prove that with two companies’ data loaded, each only ever sees its own.
Stripe subscriptions: trial-to-paid billing (checkout, webhooks, plan logic).
File storage: receipts and contract PDFs via Supabase Storage with access rules matching the database.
Swap the demo AI support chat for a real Claude API integration.
Deploy to production (Vercel or similar) with a live URL.

Required skills: React, Vite, Supabase/Postgres, row-level security, Stripe integration, and experience safely wiring an existing front-end to a backend without breaking working features.

About the role: This is an independent contractor position, starting with the build and continuing into ongoing management — maintenance, debugging, updates, and new features as the app grows. There’s also a planned second phase down the road: an integrated e-commerce system for builders (tools, architectural features, and related products), which we’ll scope separately once the main app is live. We’re looking for someone who can build it well and then own it long-term, not hand it off. The work is tracked on a specific time basis, and you need to be comfortable with that arrangement.

When you respond, please include:

The pay you’re looking for.
Your estimated timeline to build something like this, start to deployed.

We’ll follow up from there. Thank you.
