Settlement Coordinator for a US Law Firm
Confidential employer
The Workers' Firm represents employees and civil-rights plaintiffs in Alabama, Georgia, California, and
Virginia. We are hiring a part-time Settlement Coordinator, 20 hours per week, to get our clients paid
faster.
You will own the settlement process after our attorneys reach a deal: verifying payment terms,
collecting tax forms, sending agreements for e-signature and following up until they are signed,
preparing settlement statements, and chasing payments until funds arrive. Between settlements, you
will verify case expenses and manage accounts payable for case costs.
You are a good fit if you have 3 or more years of law-firm billing, AP, or settlement experience; you are
precise with numbers, you follow up without being asked, and you write and speak clear, friendly
English. Just so we know you did not let Claude do all the reading and the writing, send us a short intro with the ring somewhere in your letter to confirm that you at least read what we need.
Smokeball, Adobe Sign, and Melio experience is a plus.
Schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. U.S. Central Time, Monday through Friday.
