URGENT HIRING — Fashion Video Editor (Immediate Start)

Short-Term Freelance Project | 30–40 Hours | Immediate Availability Required

We are Fanciful Doll, a UK-based premium fashion brand specialising in romantic, theatrical and historically inspired dresses.

We are urgently looking for an experienced video editor to assist with a large batch of fashion videos ahead of our Black Friday campaign.

We need someone who can start immediately, dedicate approximately 30–40 hours to our project, and work continuously until the editing is completed.

This is an urgent, project-based role rather than an ongoing part-time position. There may be opportunities for further work in the future.

The Work

Edit short-form fashion videos for Instagram, TikTok and Meta advertising.

Select the strongest footage and create beautifully paced, engaging videos.

Professionally colour-correct footage to ensure garments look natural and consistent with our website photography.

Adjust exposure, lighting and white balance while maintaining realistic skin tones and fabric textures.

Produce clean, elegant edits without excessive filters, artificial-looking enhancements or unnecessary transitions.

Deliver completed videos progressively throughout the project, rather than waiting until the entire batch is finished.

What We're Looking For

Excellent natural colour correction and video editing skills.

Experience editing fashion, luxury, beauty or ecommerce content.

Strong attention to detail, particularly fabric colours, skin tones and overall visual consistency.

Good understanding of engaging short-form social media content.

Ability to work independently, efficiently and follow creative direction.

Excellent communication and reliable delivery times.

IMPORTANT — Immediate Availability

We are only considering applicants who can begin immediately and dedicate approximately 30–40 hours to this project over the next several days.

We need someone who has a substantial block of time available right now.

This position is not suitable for someone who intends to fit the work around an existing full-time job or spread the project across several weeks.

We expect completed videos to be delivered in batches as work progresses, with the first edits available within 24 hours of starting.

Payment

$8–12 USD per hour, depending on experience and editing quality.

Paid editing trial required for shortlisted candidates.
