Hiring: Video Editor & Social Media Growth Specialist - Safe Travels with Steve

I’m launching Safe Travels with Steve, a new channel focused on travel, practical safety advice, airport guides, and helping people explore with confidence.

I’m looking for a creative, dependable professional who can edit compelling videos and has a proven track record of growing and monetizing YouTube channels and other social media accounts. You should understand how to turn quality content into an engaged audience and sustainable revenue.

Responsibilities:

Edit long-form YouTube videos with strong hooks, clear storytelling, and engaging pacing.

Create short clips for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook Reels.

Create effective thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and captions.

Manage uploads, scheduling, and content organization across platforms.

Help develop and execute an audience growth and monetization strategy.

Identify revenue opportunities through platform earnings, sponsorships, and affiliate marketing.

Review analytics and use the results to improve viewer retention, engagement, and revenue.

Bring fresh ideas and make recommendations proactively.

Required experience:

Demonstrated success growing and monetizing YouTube channels.

Strong working knowledge of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook video content.

Experience generating revenue through social media. Please specify which platforms you have monetized.

Strong video editing, storytelling, and thumbnail design skills.

Clear English communication, reliable follow-through, and the ability to work independently.

Travel, lifestyle, or educational content experience is a plus.
