JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Architectural Designer to join our established US architectural firm for a long-term remote position.

This is a true senior-level opportunity for a professional who can independently manage projects, solve complex design and technical challenges, and make sound architectural decisions with minimal supervision.

If you have advanced Autodesk Revit skills, strong knowledge of US building codes, and the ability to develop projects from initial concepts through complete construction documentation, we want to hear from you!

SCHEDULE AND HOURS

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Days: Monday to Friday

Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Eastern Time

Location: Remote / Work From Home

Note: This schedule requires working the night/graveyard shift in the Philippines to accommodate live collaboration with our US-based team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and develop architectural designs and construction documentation for US residential and commercial projects.

Translate project requirements, concepts, and sketches into detailed, coordinated, and construction-ready Revit models and drawing sets.

Handle space planning, building layouts, exterior design, and architectural detailing.

Develop complete architectural drawing packages, including floor plans, roof plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and construction details.

Review drawings for dimensional accuracy, consistency, code compliance, and constructability.

Proactively identify and resolve design conflicts and technical challenges before they impact construction.

Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and MEP disciplines.

Review and incorporate redlines, revisions, and permit comments.

Manage project priorities and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.

REQUIREMENTS

Extensive professional experience as a Senior Architect, Senior Architectural Designer, or highly advanced Revit Drafter.

Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit. AutoCAD experience is a plus.

Strong, verifiable knowledge of US residential and commercial construction methods, particularly wood framing, building assemblies, and architectural detailing.

Working knowledge of US building codes and standards, including IBC, IRC, ADA, fire protection, and life safety requirements.

Excellent understanding of US Imperial measurements (feet and inches).

Ability to develop projects from initial concepts through complete construction documentation.

Strong technical problem-solving and architectural coordination skills.

Excellent English communication skills for daily collaboration with our US-based team.

Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and meet deadlines.

Reliable home office setup, including high-speed internet, webcam, headset, and a computer capable of handling large and complex Revit files.

Willingness and ability to work the dedicated US Eastern Time schedule (night/graveyard shift in the Philippines).
