WHO WE ARE

Hot Print Co makes custom apparel and promotional products for organizations across the US: colleges, companies, churches, camps, and more. We’ve been in business for more than a decade and have served thousands of organizations.

We’re a fully-remote, global team with big ambitions. We don’t do layers of management or bureaucracy. We hire great people. You’ll be trusted with real responsibility, judged on results instead of hours, and paid more as your impact grows.

We’re scaling aggressively and staying lean. That means every person here matters, and every win is visible.

Check us out: ----------

ROLE

You own everything between an order being sold and it arriving at the customer’s door. Every order we sell is produced by a growing network of outside decorators and vendors. You work with them to make sure every order arrives correct, on time, and at the lowest possible cost.

You will start by learning the operation firsthand (including processing live orders) so you understand exactly how orders and communication flow through the company. But this is not an order coordinator role. You are not just submitting POs, ordering blanks, and monitoring orders all day. That manual, routine work is being automated so that most of your time goes to strategic improvements: making our production, sourcing, and vendor network better and more profitable, and putting those improvements in place. You optimize the entire system.

The right person reads this and already has a list of optimizations they would want to explore. The department is yours. If you want us to tell you exactly what to improve and show you how, this is not your role. You should expect to receive problems and output solutions. Success is not just that everything runs smoothly, but that it is constantly improving (lower cost, faster turnarounds, lower error rates).

You report to our incredible Operations Manager and collaborate with her on interdepartmental decisions.

WHAT YOU OWN

  • Cost and profit: For every order and expense, find money we’re leaving on the table and bring it home. Better rates, smarter sourcing, less waste. The opportunities are endless.
  • The vendor network: Build a network of decorators and suppliers with the right capabilities, coverage, and pricing. Negotiate prices, set clear standards, and replace vendors as needed.
  • Systems and Improvement Projects: Reduce mistakes. Reduce complexity. Delete steps that don’t need to exist.
  • Production health: Keep every order moving. When issues surface, you solve them in real time.
  • Getting the order there, even when it seems impossible: A lost package. A hurricane. A critical art error. The customer still needs their order tomorrow. Most people say it can’t be done. You’re the one who finds a way.
  • Being the expert everyone relies on: When the art team needs to know what a decorator can do, they come to you. When sales is quoting a product they’ve never seen, they come to you.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You have run outsourced production in custom apparel, decorated apparel, or promotional products and have in-depth knowledge of garments, decoration methods, and promotional products.
  • Your track record is building or improving an operation like this, not just working in one. You have made a department measurably better. You can point to what you changed and how it impacted profit, quarter over quarter.
  • You like messy open-ended problems with no finish line in sight.
  • You use AI as leverage. We are automating this operation aggressively, and the people who thrive here use AI to multiply their impact while owning the quality of what it produces.
  • You catch the smallest detail without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Your written and spoken English is excellent. You will deal with US vendors directly, including getting on the phone when an issue needs it, with no hesitation.

WHAT YOU GET

  • $18,000+ USD per year to start, paid every two weeks through Wise.
  • Annual bonus and raise.
  • Extra bonuses tied to the money you save.
  • 15 paid days off per year. And we are flexible.
  • Your own department. Real decisions, real authority. No one micromanages you.
  • A company that keeps its people. Some of our team members have been here 7+ years.
  • Room to grow. As production volume grows, your responsibility and your pay grow with it.
  • Impact. What you do here is measurable and matters.
  • You’re treated like a leader, not an assistant.

OUR VALUES

Our mission is to build and empower a championship-level team that is proud of the work they do and how they do it. We live and die by these values. If you don’t have them, you won’t be successful here.

Championship Mindset. You prepare thoroughly, execute consistently, and hold your standard when nobody is watching. You define excellence instead of waiting to be told, and you keep raising your own bar. "Good enough" isn’t in your vocabulary.

Extreme Ownership. You own outcomes, not tasks. When something goes wrong, you ask what you could have done differently. You bring solutions, not just problems. No blame, no excuses.

Speed with Direction. You prioritize what matters most, then move fast. Act, learn, adjust. Problems get solved while they’re fresh.

Straightforward Communication. You say it clearly, early, and directly, including when it’s uncomfortable. You take feedback without taking it personally.

IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?

This role is not for everyone. Make sure you’re comfortable with:

  • Holding vendors accountable. Calling them, pushing back, renegotiating, and sometimes dropping a vendor you like. If confrontation makes you uncomfortable, this will be hard.
  • Solving problems you’ve never seen before. We don’t have playbooks for every scenario. Problems land on you, and your job is to solve them, not hand them off to someone else.
  • Constant change. Our tools and processes change often because we’re automating fast.
  • Being judged on numbers. We measure cost, on-time rate, and errors. Effort is great, but results are what count.
  • Being a small or one-person department. Automation means this department won’t require a lot of people, but we will hire as needed.
  • Ramping up fast. The department runs smoothly today, and there’s a lot of room to make it better. Improvements start in your first week, not your sixth month.

If that list makes you excited instead of nervous, keep reading.
