Software Engineer (C#/.NET & React)

About the Role

We are seeking an independent, solution-oriented Software Engineer with strong technical judgment, business understanding, and hands-on experience using AI development tools. You will work on established business applications, designing and delivering reliable solutions across backend, frontend, databases, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.

Develop and maintain features across backend, frontend, and database systems.

Understand existing application architecture and system integrations.

Leverage AI coding tools for development, debugging, and testing while validating generated code.

Troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes.

Take ownership of projects from requirements gathering through testing and production release.

Communicate technical decisions, progress, and potential risks clearly.

Requirements

5+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong proficiency in C#, .NET / ASP.NET Core, and REST APIs.

Solid SQL and relational database knowledge, preferably PostgreSQL.

Experience with React and modern frontend development.

Understanding of application architecture, integrations, authentication, and data flows.

Familiarity with Git, GitHub, pull requests, and code reviews.

Experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms.

Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and agentic development tools.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and spoken English.

Availability to overlap with US Eastern Time working hours.
