About the Role

Daily Media Group is the team behind HR Addict and Career Addict, two established online media brands for HR professionals, recruiters, employers and career-minded readers, mainly across the US, UK and Europe. We're a remote-first team, and we're looking for a Web Content Editor who knows the world of HR and work to help keep both sites sharp, accurate and useful.

You'll edit and shape articles on HR, recruitment, talent management, workplace culture and career development, work with our freelance writers, and get content published. If you care about good writing and find topics like hiring, employee engagement and the future of work interesting, you'll enjoy this.

What you'll do:

  • Edit and proofread articles for grammar, clarity, accuracy and readability
  • Keep a consistent style and tone across HR Addict and Career Addict
  • Write article briefs and assign them to freelance writers
  • Give writers clear, constructive feedback and manage revisions
  • Fact-check content, especially pieces written for HR professionals and employers
  • Format, schedule and publish articles in WordPress, with suitable images
  • Help with LinkedIn and social posts, newsletters and occasional PR or outreach work
  • Apply SEO best practices so our content gets found
  • Stay on top of HR trends, recruitment practices and workplace developments

What we're looking for:

  • Fluent, near-native English with excellent grammar and proofreading skills
  • Experience in content editing, proofreading, journalism or digital publishing
  • Experience writing or editing HR, recruitment or workplace content is a strong plus
  • A degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, HR or a related field, or 3+ years in a similar role
  • Strong research and fact-checking skills
  • Working knowledge of SEO; WordPress experience is a plus
  • Organised and self-directed, able to manage several articles and deadlines remotely
  • Your own workstation and a reliable internet connection

What you get:

  • Competitive pay, plus 13th month pay and paid leave
  • Fully remote, flexible part-time hours
  • A supportive team and two established brands in the HR and careers space

Work details: fully remote, part-time with flexible daily hours.
