Short-Form Video Clipper / Social Media Content Assistant (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) - Long Term

OVERVIEW

A US entertainment company is hiring a detail-oriented video clipper to create and post short-form content. You'll turn longer videos and audio into short clips, post them consistently, and use the results to improve each week. This is a long-term role for someone who understands why some short videos work and others don't.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts from briefs and approved footage
• Cut longer interviews and performances into short, engaging clips
• Match music to trends, audiences and themes
• Add captions, hooks, hashtags and simple edits
• Post and schedule 10-20 pieces of content per day across assigned accounts
• Research trends and niche communities
• Track views and engagement, and send a simple weekly report
• Follow our content guidelines and each platform's rules, using only approved footage and music

REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ year creating short-form content, with links to work you made
• Skilled in CapCut, Premiere Pro or a similar editor
• Strong eye for pacing, hooks and what fits an audience
• Daily TikTok and Instagram user who follows music and pop culture trends
• Experience with AI video or clipping tools is a plus
• Fluent written English
• Reliable and able to hit daily targets with little supervision
• Backup power and backup internet
• Some overlap with US business hours
