We are seeking an exceptional, numbers-driven Senior Amazon Marketplace Growth Manager to take
end-to-end commercial and operational ownership of our unified Amazon Seller Central account.
Currently generating approximately $20 million in trailing 12-month revenue, our portfolio consists of two
category-leading brands: one in First Aid & Emergency Preparedness and the other in Travel Accessories.
Both brands operate under a single Seller Central account, presenting significant opportunities for catalog
expansion, advertising efficiency, and cross-merchandising.
In this role, you are not simply managing listings. You are the primary owner of the channel’s P&L. You will
make high-stakes executive decisions backed by financial rigor, driving profitable top-line and bottom-line
expansion. You will orchestrate advertising strategy, listing conversion optimization, promotional calendars,
external traffic capture, and strategic relationships (including our Amazon SAS Core partner).
****** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES******
1. P&L Ownership & Financial Leadership
- Commercial Accountability: Own the Amazon channel P&L end-to-end, steering margin health,
revenue velocity, and net contribution.
- Cost & Margin Decomposition: Deeply analyze unit economics, Landed COGS, Amazon fee
structures (FBA fulfillment, referral, storage, aged inventory surcharges), and overall contribution margin
to inform pricing and operational decisions.
- Capital & TACoS Allocation: Determine and allocate target TACoS (Total Advertising Cost of Sales)
percentage points across specific product lines and ad formats to maintain healthy profitability while
unlocking incremental growth.
2. Advertising Strategy & External Traffic Leverage
- PPC Team Collaboration: Partner closely with our internal PPC Manager to execute high-performing
ad campaigns across all inventory formats:
- Sponsored Products (SP)
- Sponsored Brands (SB)
- Sponsored Brand Video (SBV)
- Sponsored Display (SD)
- TACoS Discipline: Ensure campaign efficiency aligns strictly with overarching P&L margin targets and
inventory lifecycle stages.
- External Traffic & Spillover Synergy: Quantify and leverage halo traffic originating from our
direct-to-consumer (Shopify) marketing channels. Devise strategies to capture, attribute, and accelerate
this external demand to boost Amazon organic rank and BSR velocity.
3. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) & Listing Architecture
- Systematic CRO Audits: Regularly audit existing product detail pages (PDPs) across both brand
catalogs to identify friction points and conversion leakage.
- Hypothesis-Driven Testing: Develop structured CRO hypotheses for creative assets, infographics,
Premium A+ Content, copy, and video.
- Creative Collaboration: Partner with our Creative Designer to produce conversion-optimized creative
assets based on your strategic briefs.
- A/B Experimentation: Design, execute, and monitor iterative A/B tests (via Amazon Manage Your
Experiments and third-party tooling) to systematically identify winning listing iterations that maximize
conversion rate and session value.
- Search Query Performance (SQP) Optimization: Utilize Amazon SQP and Brand Analytics data to
reverse-engineer customer search intent, refining titles, bullet points, backend search terms, and
descriptions for organic dominance.
4. Merchandising, Cross-Selling & Promotional Strategy
- Parent/Child ASIN Architecture: Capitalize on our high-performing cross-selling parent ASIN
structures to maximize basket size, customer lifetime value, and cross-brand discovery.
- Deal Cadence & Execution: Plan, schedule, and execute high-impact promotional events, including
7-Day / Best Deals and Prime Exclusive Deals (PEDs).
- Deal Post-Mortems: Rigorously evaluate every promotional event to assess whether it delivered
genuine incremental velocity while safeguarding net contribution margins.
- Amazon Storefront Optimization: Continuously evaluate Storefront performance and landing page
entry points. Optimize brand narrative, user navigation, and the path to purchase to reduce bounce rates
and maximize average order value (AOV).
5. Technical Operations & Strategic Escalations
- Catalog Health & Compliance: Work in tandem with our Amazon Technical Specialist to proactively
maintain account health, resolve listing suppressions, remediate stranded inventory, and expedite case
resolution.
- Amazon SAS Core Management: Serve as the primary operational and strategic liaison with our
dedicated Amazon SAS Core representative, leveraging this relationship for new beta programs,
commercial growth opportunities, and critical issue escalations.
