Caregiver Recruiter and Weekend Scheduling Coordinator
Right at Home Folsom Lake | Remote • Philippines | Thursday–Monday
Right at Home Folsom Lake is a growing home care agency serving seniors and adults who need assistance at home in California. We’re looking for a dependable, organized team member to recruit caregivers, help applicants complete onboarding, and keep client shifts covered.
Recruiting and onboarding follow-up are your primary responsibilities, along with weekend scheduling and weekday backup support. You should be comfortable making calls, building relationships, and taking action when plans change.
Schedule and compensation
Thursday, Friday and Monday: 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. U.S. Pacific Time.
Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. U.S. Pacific Time.
Tuesday and Wednesday off. Each shift includes a one-hour unpaid meal break, for 40 working hours per week. Call coverage during your break will be coordinated with the team.
These days and hours follow U.S. Pacific Time. Your local Philippine dates and hours will differ, and your hours will shift with U.S. daylight saving time.
Compensation: $4–$6 per hour, based on relevant experience.
Caregiver recruiting and onboarding
Review applications in Apploi, contact qualified candidates promptly, conduct initial phone screenings, and coordinate interviews with our office team.
Screen for personal-care experience, communication skills, availability, travel distance, and fit for the shifts we need covered.
Follow candidates through the offer and onboarding process. Help them understand next steps, track outstanding items, and address delays through individual calls and messages.
Coordinate follow-up on Guardian, TB documentation, iSolved onboarding, and other agency requirements. Our office team makes final hiring and readiness decisions.
Keep applicant records current and maintain a pipeline for upcoming needs. Use weekday late-afternoon and early-evening hours for interviews and follow-up.
Before signing off Monday, hand off each candidate preparing for Wednesday orientation, including missing items, next steps, and the team member responsible for follow-up.
Scheduling and weekend coverage
Own assigned weekend scheduling responsibilities during your shift and provide weekday backup support. Respond promptly to callouts, late arrivals, and open shifts.
Coordinate with our primary scheduler before the weekend to review open shifts, caregiver availability, and likely coverage needs.
Before assigning a caregiver, check skills, availability, client preferences and “do not send” restrictions, travel time, and approved scheduling limits. Obtain approval for overtime or exceptions.
Update WellSky and confirm changes with caregivers and clients or points of contact, following our communication procedures.
Escalate urgent or unresolved coverage issues promptly. Document your actions and provide a clear handoff of open shifts, pending responses, and next steps before your shift ends.
Urgent client coverage takes priority over routine recruiting. Follow through until the issue is resolved or the designated team member has accepted the handoff. This position covers the scheduled hours above; it is not a 24/7 on-call role.
What we are looking for
U.S. home care recruiting experience strongly preferred, with scheduling experience and confidence handling time-sensitive situations.
Clear spoken and written English, strong attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
Ability to work independently, make frequent outbound calls, and keep the team informed.
Experience with WellSky/ClearCare, Apploi, and Microsoft 365 is a plus; comfort learning new software, including AI-assisted tools.
Reliable computer, headset, internet connection, backup connectivity and power plan, and a quiet workspace.
Ability to handle confidential applicant, caregiver, and client information appropriately.
How we measure success
We review onboarding completion, orientation attendance, first shifts worked, and 30-day caregiver activity, alongside timely scheduling follow-up and accurate handoffs. We also review scheduling workload so recruiting receives the attention it needs.
How to apply
Use “Recruiter + Scheduler – [Your Name]” as your application subject and include:
Your résumé, a brief summary of your U.S. home care recruiting and scheduling experience, and the systems you have used.
Your expected hourly rate, earliest start date, and confirmation that you can work the exact schedule above.
A short introductory video and your written response to this scenario:
“A caregiver calls out two hours before a Saturday shift. The client cannot safely be left without care, and the first three caregivers you contact are unavailable. What do you do next, who do you notify, and what do you document?”
