Help a growing, play-based early intervention business make a difference in children's lives.

I'm looking for a creative, organised and proactive Virtual Assistant to become part of the journey at Pixie Dust Education, a growing business providing individualised, play-based early intervention and learning support for children aged 0–9.

A little about Pixie Dust Education

Pixie Dust Education was created by me, an Early Childhood Teacher with nearly 10 years of experience and a passion for helping children who may find traditional learning environments challenging.

I provide personalised sessions designed around each child's strengths, interests and developmental goals. Through play, sensory experiences, creativity, movement, nature and hands-on activities, I help children develop skills such as communication, thinking, emotional regulation, confidence and independence.

My philosophy is simple: learning doesn't have to look the same for every child. Every activity has a purpose, even when it looks like play.

I'm passionate about growing Pixie Dust Education so I can reach more families and make a meaningful difference in children's lives. I'm now looking for someone who can help bring that vision to life behind the scenes.

What you'll be helping with

Social media management

Plan, ---------- and schedule content for Facebook and Instagram.

Help maintain a consistent posting schedule.

Write engaging captions that connect with parents and explain the value of play-based learning.

Research relevant content ideas, trends and opportunities to grow our audience.

Content planning and creative direction

Suggest what I should capture or film during my sessions, including activities, learning moments, resources and behind-the-scenes content.

Create simple filming plans, shot lists and content ideas so I know what to record.

Turn the photos and real videos I capture into engaging social media content.

Help repurpose existing content into Reels, stories, carousels and posts.

Bring fresh ideas for showing parents what intentional, play-based learning looks like in practice.

Important: I want to showcase real experiences, real resources and the genuine work I do with children. I don't use AI-generated images. Content should feel authentic, warm and professional, using real photos, videos, graphics and designs.

Role details

Hours: 5–8 hours per week to begin with.

Rate: $4 USD per hour.

I'm hoping to find someone who can build a genuine working relationship with me and grow alongside Pixie Dust Education.
