Virtual Medical Assistant

Full-Time | Mon–Fri (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST)

Compensation:
$4.00/hour (USD)

About the Role:

We are looking for a Virtual Medical Assistant to join our Final Reports Team and provide administrative and clinical support for a US-based healthcare practice.

The ideal candidate has previous experience working with a US healthcare account, with some experience in Sleep Medicine and/or Durable Medical Equipment (DME). You should be highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with medical records and reports.

Experience with sleep studies, medical documentation, DME workflows, or related healthcare processes is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Complete finished reports daily
• Prepare Final Reports and route for billing
• Fax the finished reports to the referring doctor.
• Contact patients for scheduling follow-up visit(s) and address any concerns they might have.
• Review medical referral/review to see orders being requested
• General Administrative Tasks
• Maintain consistency and accuracy in record-keeping
• Handle all patient information securely and in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Enter and organize relevant information into the EMR/EHR system
• Answer phones and return voi cemail s throughout the day, assisting patients with all needs.
• General scheduling for patients.
• Other duties as needed assigned Lead and/or general management.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience/background in providing outstanding customer service.
• CPT knowledge / insurance verification
• Strong computer skills; knowledge of Epic and Microsoft Teams is preferred.
• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant.
• Solid interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and problem solving with all levels of management and staff.
• Skills in written and verbal communications, with the ability to convey clinical and technical information clearly and concisely.
• Willing to learn new systems
• Ability to multi task and work with other team members required
• Good note skills
