Implementation Engineer
Confidential employer
About the role
Crstl is hiring a full-time, remote Implementation Engineer in the Philippines to own customer integration projects from kickoff to go-live, working directly with US brands and our onboarding team.
Crstl is the operating layer for the physical economy - the single control tower for companies that make and move physical products. You run the calls, gather requirements, configure and test the integration, coordinate with our engineers when something needs building, and get the customer live. This is a customer-facing, hands-on role: part project manager, part integration specialist.
What you'll do
Own a portfolio of customer integration projects end to end, from kickoff call through go-live and early hypercare.
Lead customer calls and email threads: explain the onboarding process, set timelines, and keep customers updated on progress and blockers.
Gather integration requirements: which systems the customer uses, how orders, shipments and invoices should flow, and what each retailer requires.
Configure and enable integrations between Crstl and customer systems (ERP, Shopify, WMS/3PL), including field mappings and connection settings.
Read retailer EDI specs and X12 documents (850, 855, 856, 810, 846, 997) to confirm data is complete and compliant.
Run end-to-end testing with customers and trading partners, troubleshoot failures, and document fixes.
Escalate to our integration engineers when something needs new development, with clear reproduction steps and context.
Keep project status current in Jira and Pylon so the customer and internal team always know where things stand.
Write and improve internal runbooks and customer-facing help docs as you learn our integrations.
What you bring

- Comfort with technical data: reading JSON, CSV or XML, comparing records, and spotting what's missing or wrong.
- Working knowledge of how APIs and system integrations work (authentication, endpoints, field mapping, error messages).
- Proven ability to manage several projects at once and keep each one moving without being chased.
- Reliable home internet, a backup power or connection plan, and a quiet workspace.
