About the Role

About Us:

You'd be editing ---------- — a fitness coaching page that's actively growing and posting daily, not a one-off freelance gig. ZM Consulting runs the content, sales systems, and automation behind the page. Every edit you ship goes straight into a live daily pipeline, so your portfolio grows alongside a real, active creator instead of sitting on a shelf.

Compensation:

Paid per video ($5-$12 depending on complexity), 45-60 videos a month, landing around $450-$600/month total. The pipeline runs every day, so the work is steady — it doesn't dry up between projects like typical freelance editing does.

Schedule and Availability:

No fixed hours or timezone requirement. What matters is that you consistently fit into a daily upload pipeline — videos need to keep moving so the schedule never breaks. You'll be in a group chat with the full content team (scriptwriter, social media manager, personal assistant) and need to actively communicate with them, not work in isolation.

What You Will Own:

  • - Top-of-funnel short-form edits: hook-driven videos including clone-style edits (cutting between multiple takes of the same person — different outfits or props — to create a back-and-forth two-persona effect) and animation-heavy comparison/pop-up style videos
  • - Middle-of-funnel call clips: given a raw call recording and its transcript, find a strong hook moment and cut it into a clean, captioned short-form clip
  • - UGC-style editing for personal brand content
  • - Self-QC on every edit before submitting: catching caption typos, spelling errors, and basic animation mistakes before they ever reach review
  • - Working inside a daily upload pipeline alongside a scriptwriter, social media manager, and personal assistant

You Are a Fit If:

  • - You want your portfolio built on a real, growing personal brand you can point to — not just scattered one-off client work
  • - You've edited clone-style videos before (cutting between multiple takes of the same person to create a two-persona effect) — this is not something you're learning on the job
  • - You've done UGC-style editing before, for a real client or personal brand
  • - You understand retention, hooks, and why a video keeps someone watching past the first 2 seconds
  • - You catch your own mistakes — typos, missing captions, bad animation — before anyone else has to

Do Not Apply If

  • - you have never edited a clone-style video (cutting between multiple takes of the same person for a two-persona effect)
  • - you have never done UGC-style editing
  • - you can't commit to fitting into a daily upload schedule and staying responsive in a team group chat
  • - you're applying without a portfolio link and a Loom intro video — applications without both will not be considered
  • - you have not watched all 5 example videos below — applications that don't reference them will not be considered
