Who this suits
Someone organised, self-directed, creative and genuinely good with people.
You know how to plan, edit and market content in any niche. You think like a marketer, not just an editor. You don’t only make what you’re given. You know why it works and what to make next.
If you need to be chased for updates or told what to make every day, this isn’t the role for you.
About us
-We’re a brow and lash studio in Penrith, Sydney.
-We specialise in brow dye, lamination, waxing, shaping, cosmetic tattooing and Korean lash lifting.
-Alongside clients, we run in-person and online training for beauty therapists learning brow dye, wax and lamination, plus the business and marketing side most courses leave out.
-It’s a one-woman operation.
The role
- You’ll keep our online presence alive, our content moving and our inbox handled while I’m behind the chair.
- This isn’t a “post and ghost” job, and it isn’t a “wait to be told” job. I need someone who brings ideas, knows what’s trending, and understands that content exists to sell, not just to fill a feed.
What you’ll be doing
-Content strategy & planning
-Building the monthly content calendar, due by the [20th] of each month
- Researching trending reels, sounds and formats every week
- Pitching 5 reel ideas per week, each with a hook, format and audience
- Pitching 2–3 marketing ideas per week, plus 1 bigger campaign idea per month
- Planning content for our two audiences:
- Clients: local women who want low-maintenance, reliable brows and lashes
- Students: beauty therapists wanting to learn the skills and build a profitable business
Content creation
- Editing reels from raw clips, following our style guide and example videos
- Adding captions to reels
- Writing 3–5 reel and talking-head scripts per week, each with a hook, key points and a call to action
- Building 1–6 carousels per week in Canva from our templates
- Repurposing existing content into carousel captions or stories
- Transcribing videos and reels
Engagement & outreach (1 hour per day)
- Reaching out to 20–30 potential students and beauty creators daily
- Leaving 10–15 genuine comments on other accounts daily
- Sending outreach DMs using our scripts
- Replying to comments with real engagement, not one-word replies
- Editing and posting stories daily, then replying to engagement
email marketing - bonus if you know it room for extra hours per week - using flodesk
Admin
- Pulling and formatting 2–3 testimonials or reviews per week for stories for each page, I have a salon page and page used for educating and targeting students
Keeping the shared Canva and Google Drive folders tidy and up to date
Workload expectations
-Everything comes with templates, style guides, scripts and raw footage, so the work is set up to move fast.
-Reels: approx. 30 minutes per reel, building to 6 reels per day at full hours
-Carousels: 2–3 per hour from templates, 1–6 per week
-Scripts: 2–3 per hour
-Engagement: 1 hour per day
-Content calendar: delivered by the [20th] each month
These are minimums, not stretch goals. A full daily and weekly schedule will be provided once you start.
If something’s taking longer than expected, tell me early. A problem I hear about on Monday is easy to fix. One I find out about on Friday isn’t.
How we track work
All hours are logged in on your preferred platfrom, work created sent back or logged daily and market off daily tasks
An end-of-shift update goes into Notion or WhatsApp: what’s done, what’s in progress, and links to finished work
Weekly Friday check-in via voice note
Output is reviewed against tracked hours every week
Trial period: The first 4 weeks are a trial, with a review at the end.

- A portfolio of content you’ve created for a brand
- A typing speed of 40–60 WPM minimum (screenshot of a typing test required)
- Strong written English with a warm, natural tone
