Staff Accountant – US Accounting Firm (Full-Time, Remote)

We're a fully remote, AI-forward accounting and advisory firm. We need an accountant who doesn't stop at "it reconciles." You'll work inside client books every day, and we want you to notice when something looks off and figure out why. AI is part of how we work every day, so you need to be comfortable with it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations for multiple US clients in QuickBooks Online
• Find and fix duplicates, misclassifications, and bank feed errors
• Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to speed up and check your work
• Prepare clean financials ready for reporting or tax prep
• Communicate with clients by email , text, and phone

REQUIRED

• CPA
• 3+ years of accounting experience with US clients
• Strong QuickBooks Online skills
• You use AI tools daily and can write clear, detailed prompts
• Strong written and spoken English (this is a client-facing role)
• Full-time during California (Pacific) business hours

NICE TO HAVE

• Public accounting background
• Experience building AI skills or workflows, or using Git
• Google Workspace and Slack

PAY: Up to $9/hour, full-time
