Inbound Phone Sales Representative for NYC/NJ Photography Company (Excellent English)

About us
We serve New York City and New Jersey, providing corporate headshots, wedding photography and video, event coverage, photo booth, and DJ services.

We need someone who can answer incoming calls, build trust, and turn qualified inquiries into paid bookings. This is a sales role, not simply answering questions or taking messages.

What you'll do
1. Answer incoming calls promptly during your scheduled shift.
2. Ask good questions, listen carefully, and explain services and pricing based on each client's needs.
3. Handle objections calmly and confidently, without relying on discounts.
4. Ask for the booking and deposit when the client is a good fit.
5. When someone needs time to d ---------- , understand their concerns and agree on a clear next step.
6. Follow up with leads by phone, email , and text.
7. Recommend relevant additional services.
8. Keep accurate notes and follow up tasks in our client management system.

Who we're looking for
1. Excellent spoken and written English, with clear, easy to understand speech.
2. Proven phone sales experience, including closing sales or securing bookings. Customer service experience alone is not enough.
3. A warm, confident, professional phone manner.
4. A good listener who can guide a conversation naturally.
5. A fast learner who takes feedback and applies it quickly.
6. Strong organization, reliability, and consistent follow through.
7. A quiet workspace, quality headset, stable internet, backup internet, and a backup power plan.

Experience selling photography, weddings, events, or other services is helpful. Photography knowledge is not required.

Schedule
Our preferred coverage is about 10am to 6pm New York time.

We're interested in weekday coverage and Saturday and Sunday availability, depending on the agreed shift. Please tell us which days and hours you can consistently work. Exact days and hours will be agreed on during hiring. This is not a seven day a week requirement.

This is a night shift in the Philippines. Your schedule follows New York time, including daylight saving changes.

Pay
Hourly pay is negotiable based on experience and demonstrated sales ability. We're willing to pay more for the right person.

The role also includes booking bonuses tied to received client deposits. Bonus amounts, eligibility, and payment terms will be agreed on before hiring.

Training
We'll train you on our services, packages, pricing, systems, and sales process.

6. Your internet speed, backup internet and power arrangements, and earliest start date.
Share both recordings as links using Google Drive, Vocaroo, or a similar service. Make sure we can listen without requesting access.
Applications without the role play recording will not be considered.
Shortlisted candidates will do a live mock sales call using package information we provide. We'll give you one piece of feedback and ask you to repeat part of the call to see how quickly you apply it.
We're looking for someone who makes clients feel comfortable, follows through, and confidently asks for the booking.
