Quantity Surveyor – Remote (Philippines)
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Philippines (100% Remote / Work From Home)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Irish Time (4:00 PM–12:00 AM or 5:00 PM–1:00 AM Philippine Time, depending on Irish daylight saving time).

Salary: Negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience

About the Role
We are an Irish property development and construction company seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor based in the Philippines to support our ongoing residential and commercial developments across the West of Ireland.
The successful candidate will work remotely with our Ireland-based Project Manager and Senior Consultant Quantity Surveyor, supporting procurement, cost management and commercial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor procurement, including quotations, comparisons and appointment recommendations.
• Assist with subcontractor agreements, payment applications and final accounts.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, variations and commercial commitments.
• Source competitive material pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain procurement schedules, commercial trackers and project records.
• Manage commercial information within Buildertrend.
• Prepare monthly commercial reports and coordinate with the Ireland-based project team.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related field.
• Preferably 1–3 years of relevant QS experience.
• Previous experience working with Irish construction companies or on Irish construction projects is highly desirable - this is a must have.

Candidates with relevant UK construction experience will also be considered.

• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with construction estimating and procurement.
• Excellent English communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Availability to work full-time, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Irish time.

Experience with Buildertrend or similar construction management software is an advantage.
