Short-Form Video Editor (Japanese Product Reels/TikTok) – $6 per Set (1 Main + 2 Hook Variations) Romaji Script Provided

We produce short vertical product videos (15–60 seconds) in Japanese for Instagram Reels and TikTok for an Amazon affiliate business. We are looking for reliable editors for ongoing, template-based work.

IMPORTANT: RED/Xiaohongshu (小红书) is REQUIRED
This role includes BOTH footage research and video editing. You must have a working RED account and be able to search it from your location. Search RED first and prioritize footage found on RED. TikTok may be used only as a fallback when the required footage cannot be found on RED. TikTok-only sourcing is not allowed. Applicants who can only use TikTok cannot perform this role.

Japanese is NOT required. We give you a romaji (Japanese written in English letters) version of every script, so you can check the AI voiceover by listening and comparing it with the romaji script. Our Japanese team handles any remaining quality issues.

What we provide for each set

• A Japanese script (for captions) and a romaji script (for the reading check).
• Reference videos and sourcing instructions. You will research matching footage on RED first, with TikTok used only as a fallback. Use only footage approved for the project.
• A project template (Premiere Pro or CapCut), the designated fonts, and a caption style guide.

Your tasks for each set

• Research matching footage, searching RED first and using TikTok only if the footage cannot be found on RED. Record the source URLs in our spreadsheet.
• Put the Japanese script into captions (copy and paste; do not rewrite the text).
• Generate the Japanese AI voiceover with our designated tool and settings.
• Listen to every line and compare it with the romaji script to check for misreadings. Fix misreadings before editing, and tell us about anything unclear.
• Edit the short video with the approved footage, following the template and the designated fonts.
• Make 2 hook variations (see below).

Hook variations (3 videos per set)

• Each set = 1 main video + 2 hook variations.
• In each hook variation, change ONLY the order of the supplied clips in the first ~3 seconds. Do not write new text and do not add new footage.
• Everything after the first ~3 seconds must be identical to the main video.
• File names: 01_main.mp4, 01_hookA.mp4, 01_hookB.mp4 (the number is the set number).

Software: Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut (your own licensed software).
Estimated time: about 20–30 minutes per main video once you are used to the template (our estimate). Hook variations are shot-order changes only.

Payment

• Fixed price: $6 per set (1 main video + 2 hook variations), including AI voiceover generation and the misreading check.
• Paid test: $6 for one set. We will test 3 editors with the same task.
• Revisions: one consolidated round of revisions per set is included. Mistakes on your side (typos, misreadings, spec violations) are fixed free of charge and do not count as a revision.
• Required footage research: +$0.25 per research item on top of the editing rate. Search RED first; use TikTok only as a fallback. Paste verified source URLs into our spreadsheet. The number of research items and total fee will be agreed before work starts.
• No minimum volume is guaranteed.

2. How will you check that the AI voiceover matches the romaji script line by line? (Japanese is not required.)

4. Do you accept $6 per set (including the $6 paid test)?
5. Do you have a working RED/Xiaohongshu account? Can you search it from your country? Confirm that you accept footage research (+$0.25 per item), will prioritize RED, and will not source footage only from TikTok.
6. Your time zone, working hours, turnaround time, and how many complete sets you can deliver per week INCLUDING footage research.
