About the Position

Hi! I’m a content creator and business owner looking for a reliable, detail-oriented video editor to join my team long-term.

I create content focused on beauty, skincare, DIY beauty, lifestyle, and travel. I’m looking for someone who can help take over the editing process so I can focus more on filming and growing my business.

The editing style I’m looking for is very straightforward! Most of my videos simply need clean cuts, removal of unnecessary pauses, and basic editing. I do not need complicated transitions, animations, or excessive effects.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos (typically 1–5 minutes) for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social media platforms.
• Edit approximately 4 longer videos per month (around 20 minutes each).
• Remove mistakes, long pauses, and unnecessary footage.
• Add simple text, captions, or music when needed.
• Keep videos clean, engaging, and natural.
• Organize completed videos and meet agreed-upon deadlines.
• Follow feedback and maintain a consistent editing style.

Requirements

• Experience editing videos using CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
• Good understanding of short-form social media content.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Reliable internet and consistent communication.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Willingness to make revisions when necessary.
