Architectural Estimator / Project Estimator

AluGlobus Aluminum Systems is a growing U.S.-based manufacturer and supplier of aluminum fencing, gates, patio covers, pergola systems, railings, and architectural aluminum products.

We are looking for a skilled, organized, and detail-oriented Architectural Estimator to join our team and prepare customer quotes on a daily basis.

This is not just a data-entry position. We need someone who can understand a project, review measurements, photos, drawings, and customer requests, determine what materials are needed, and build an accurate professional quote.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and customer quotes every day
• Review architectural drawings, plans, measurements, photos, and project information
• Break down fence, gate, railing, patio cover, and pergola projects into the materials and components required
• Calculate quantities, dimensions, and project requirements accurately
• Use Photoshop or similar software to make basic photo edits, markups, and project visualizations
• Communicate with customers by phone when additional measurements, photos, or project information are needed
• Work with our sales team to clarify project requirements
• Keep quotes, drawings, customer information, and project files highly organized
• Double-check estimates before they are sent to customers
• Learn our aluminum systems, profiles, accessories, pricing, and installation requirements
• Handle multiple quotes and projects at the same time while meeting deadlines

Who We Are Looking For

You should be very detail-oriented and organized. Small mistakes in dimensions or materials can affect an entire project, so accuracy is extremely important.

Preferred experience:

• Architecture, estimating, construction, engineering, drafting, or similar background
• Experience reading construction plans and architectural drawings
• Experience preparing material takeoffs or project estimates
• Good understanding of measurements and dimensions
• Photoshop skills
• AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software is a strong advantage
• Strong written and spoken English
• Comfortable speaking with U.S. customers by phone
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to learn new products and systems quickly
• Ability to work independently and solve problems
• Excellent attention to detail

Experience with fencing, gates, aluminum systems, patio covers, pergolas, railings, construction, or exterior architectural products is a major advantage.

What Success Looks Like

You can receive a project with photos, dimensions, drawings, or plans and understand what the customer is trying to build.

You know what information is missing and are comfortable contacting the customer to get it.

You can then break the project down, calculate the required materials, and prepare a clean, accurate, professional quote for our sales team and customer.
