Confidential employer
Location: Remote (Philippines-based)
Role Type: Freelance / Contractor (Per-Gig / Per-Wedding Basis)
Capacity: Up to Full-Time Equivalent (~15 weddings/month per editor)
About the Role
We are a global wedding photography company seeking up to 4 reliable, detail-oriented photo color correction artists based in the Philippines.
In this role, you will handle the post-production color grading and correction pipeline, transforming RAW wedding captures into consistent, gallery-ready, high-resolution JPEGs that match our signature look.
We heavily leverage modern editing workflows—pairing Adobe Lightroom Classic with AI-assisted editing tools (AfterShoot) to achieve fast, cohesive results across diverse lighting and venue conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Color Correction & Exposure Balancing: Correct white balance, tint, exposure, highlights, shadows, and skin tones across full wedding galleries (typically 1,500–4,000+ RAW images per wedding).
AI-Assisted Workflow Integration: Run catalogs through AI profiles, then perform meticulous manual QC and secondary adjustments to ensure every frame is cohesive.
Volume & Consistency: Successfully turnaround an average of 12–15 weddings per month while adhering strictly to our brand presets and style guides.
Export & Delivery: Export optimized high-resolution JPEGs following exact file-naming, sizing, and sharpening protocols within agreed deadlines.
Feedback Implementation: Apply constructive client feedback and make timely revisions when required.
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven Experience: Demonstrable portfolio or track record editing high-volume event/wedding galleries.
Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Lightroom Classic (smart previews, catalogs, batch editing) and hands-on familiarity with AI culling/editing software (ImagenAI, AfterShoot, or similar).
Color Sensitivity: Sharp eye for natural, flattering skin tones across diverse skin complexions and varying light environments (direct sun, golden hour, tungsten, reception flash).
Hardware & Connectivity:
High-performance PC or Mac capable of smoothly handling large RAW files and catalog batches.
Color-accurate, calibrated monitor.
Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 50+ Mbps download/upload) with a dependable backup plan for power and internet interruptions.
Work Ethic: Strong time management, high reliability, and clear written English communication.
Compensation & Work Setup
Pay Structure: Paid per gig / per wedding completed (rates discussed upon application).
Volume: Steady flow of projects throughout the peak wedding seasons, with potential for long-term ongoing collaboration.
Flexible Hours: Work on your own schedule as long as delivery milestones (typically 1 week turnaround per gallery once assigned) are consistently met.
How to Apply
To apply, please submit the following:
Portfolio / Before-and-Afters: A link to a portfolio or Google Drive showing before-and-after samples of your wedding color correction work (particularly skin tone rendering and reception lighting).
Workflow Summary: A quick overview of your current tech setup (computer specs, monitor, internet speed) and which AI editing tools you use regularly.
Capacity: Your current monthly editing availability.
Paid Trial: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a short, paid test gallery to evaluate style matching, color consistency, and turnaround speed.
