Job Description
Hey! I'm looking for a reliable, affordable YouTube video editor to work with me long-term on my growing YouTube channel.
My channel focuses on remote jobs, making money online, and overemployment.
I'm looking for someone who can edit simple, clean, engaging YouTube videos. Nothing overly complicated or cinematic.
Most videos will consist of me talking to the camera while explaining a topic, reviewing Reddit posts, showing websites, or walking through different online tools.
What You'll Be Doing
- Cutting out mistakes, pauses, and unnecessary sections.
- Adding relevant B-roll, screenshots, and screen recordings.
- Showing Reddit posts, websites, and articles while I'm discussing them.
- Adding simple zooms, transitions, and occasional text.
- Keeping the pacing engaging without excessive effects.
- Making sure audio sounds clean and balanced.
- Delivering finished 1080p YouTube videos.
What I'm NOT Looking For
- Complicated animations or motion graphics.
- Excessive sound effects or flashy transitions.
- Overly cinematic editing.
- Someone who spends hours on unnecessary effects.
I want clean, professional, simple editing that's efficient to produce.
Requirements
- Experience editing long-form YouTube videos.
- Comfortable using CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
- Able to understand English and match visuals to what I'm saying.
- Good communication and consistent delivery.
- Able to work independently and follow reference videos.
- Looking for a long-term opportunity.
Pay & Workload
My budget is approximately $3–$4/hour, ideally $20–$40 per completed 15-minute video depending on complexity.
I plan to produce videos consistently, with a goal of posting one video every day.
This is a long-term opportunity with steady work for the right person.
How to Apply
Please send me:
1. Your portfolio with examples of long-form YouTube videos you've edited.
2. Your hourly rate.
3. How much you would charge to edit a simple 15-minute YouTube video.
4. How many hours you typically need to complete one.
5. How many videos you can realistically edit per week.
6. Which editing software you use.
Important: Start your application with the word "REDDIT" so I know you read the entire description.
I'll be selecting a few applicants for a short paid trial edit before hiring.
Looking forward to working together!
