Mabuhay! I’m Chi (pronounced “cheee”), founder of a small digital agency here in Florida. We’re slowly growing, and we’re ready to welcome Wave 2 of our virtual assistant talent pool.

Simplehan na lang natin, mga kapatid. We want to work directly with individual freelancers. No agencies, or passing your assigned work to someone else.

We respect your existing client commitments and the hustle too and if any would conflict with our clients’ dedicated working hours in Florida (Eastern Time), please let us know.

1. Introduce yourself.
What city are you based in, and what does a typical day look like for you?

2. Tell us about your experience. Ten years? Five? One or two? Just starting? Kwento mo kung paano ka nagsimula, what roles you’ve handled.

• If you’re new, share relevant training or experience.

3. What brings you here?
Are you moving from BPO, exploring freelancing, balancing a business with freelance work, or looking for a different opportunity? What are you hoping to find?

4. What clients and work suit you best? Your Top 2

• What are your top two preferred roles – customer service, non-voice support, technical support, cold calling, or another specialty?
• For each, tell us whether it’s an existing strength, related to your experience, or a new direction you want to explore. Briefly describe your relevant experience and why you want the role. If you’re looking for a change from your previous work, feel free to share that too!

5. How much do you rely on AI in your daily work? (Please be honest)
What do you use it for, and what could you confidently complete without it? Give one specific example.

6. Show us your workspace and explain your backup plan.
Give us a quick view of your work area. Animal lovers naman kami, pero sana hindi kasabay sa client calls ang concert ng kambing, pato, o biik! 😄 How do you manage noise and distractions? If your power, internet, or computer stops working, how quickly could you resume work?

7. Availability: Can you commit to dedicated client hours of 9 AM–1 PM or 9 AM–5 PM Eastern Time? Share your available days and hours, any overlapping commitments, and your earliest start date.

8. Rate: With your experience now, what’s your expected hourly rate in USD?

9. Live screening:
If shortlisted, are you comfortable completing a live skills assessment for your chosen role?

10. Identity verification:
If shortlisted, are you willing to provide two valid government-issued IDs for verification? Please don’t send IDs with your application.

11. Client interviews:
How comfortable are you being interviewed by a potential client? Choose one:
A. I’m shy at first, but I get comfortable as we talk.
B. I can do it, but I’d appreciate some preparation.

12. What does micromanagement mean to you?
We use Hubstaff for time tracking and work monitoring during paid client hours to support accurate billing, accountability, and trust. We’ll explain the specific monitoring features enabled before you accept an assignment.
How do you distinguish reasonable accountability from micromanagement? Are you comfortable with this arrangement? Please explain honestly – okay lang if it’s not for you.
