Virtual Medical Scribe – US Urgent Care Physician

Remote Position | 3 Days Per Week | Long-Term Opportunity

About the Position

I am a US-based family medicine physician working in a busy urgent care clinic. I’m looking for an experienced, dependable virtual medical scribe to work directly with me during patient encounters.

I’m a friendly, fun, and interactive physician who values good communication and teamwork. I’m looking for someone who is personable, proactive, and comfortable keeping up with a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule:

• 3 days per week
• 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Mountain Standard Time
• 36-38 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Real-time medical scribing during patient encounters
• Document HPI, ROS, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans
• Work in eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR
• Enter medication, laboratory, and imaging orders as directed
• Prepare prescriptions
• Anticipate physician needs and help maintain an efficient workflow

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken and written English.
• At least 1 year of medical scribing experience preferred
• Previous experience with US-based physicians preferred
• eClinicalWorks experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with US medical terminology and medications
• Ability to multitask and keep up with a busy patient schedule
• Reliable high-speed internet and backup connection
• Quiet, professional home office
• Comfortable working overnight hours

• Starting pay: $6.00 USD per hour.
• Opportunity for an increase to $7.00 USD per hour based on performance after the first month.
• Monthly and annual performance bonuses also available.
