Property Management Bookkeeper – Guesty Accounting

Revere Estates is looking for an experienced Property Management Bookkeeper with a strong understanding of short-term rental accounting, Guesty, owner statements, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Guesty Accounting: Manage reservation transactions, payouts, fees, expenses, and reconciliations.

Owner Statements: Prepare accurate monthly owner statements, including rental income, management fees, cleaning fees, expenses, and owner payouts.

Financial Reporting: Generate monthly financial reports, income statements, and property performance reports.

Reconciliation: Reconcile Airbnb, VRBO, Guesty, and bank transactions.

Expense Tracking: Track property expenses, vendor payments, maintenance costs, and owner reimbursements.

QuickBooks: Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and reconcile accounts.

Owner Communication: Answer accounting questions and explain financial statements when necessary.

Requirements

Previous bookkeeping experience in short-term rental or property management is mandatory.

Experience with Guesty Accounting and owner statements is strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of management commissions, platform fees, owner payouts, and property-level profitability.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel/Google Sheets.

Experience with monthly reconciliations and financial reporting.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong written and spoken English.

Ability to work independently and meet monthly reporting deadlines.
