Part-Time Research VA - Insurance Agency Lead Research ($4/hour)

We are looking for a careful, reliable virtual assistant to research California insurance agencies and organize accurate information in a shared spreadsheet. This is repeatable online research and data-entry work with clear instructions.

PAY AND SCHEDULE

• $4 USD per hour.
• Part-time: start at 10 hours per week, with potential to increase to 20 hours based on workload and performance.
• Flexible working hours; Philippine daytime hours are welcome.
• Two-week paid trial. Assigned training time is paid.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Work through an agency list we provide.
• Look up public insurance licence and business-registration records.
• Read company filings and PDFs to identify principals and decision-makers.
• Record names, exact business titles, source links, and research notes.
• Keep the spreadsheet organized, avoid duplicates, and flag uncertain or conflicting information.
• Send a brief daily update with hours worked, completed records, and questions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Strong attention to detail and comfortable reading English business documents.
• Confidence using spreadsheets, browser searches, and PDFs.
• Patience with repetitive research and similar company names.
• Willingness to mark something “needs review” instead of guessing.
• A computer and reliable internet connection.

Research or data-entry experience is helpful. Insurance experience is not required. This role does not involve cold calling or sending outreach.

We will share the detailed SOP, examples, and training materials privately with shortlisted applicants. Any required paid tools will be provided.
